Passing by Reno and I was impressed with the all you can eat. The fish was fresh and had many rolls to pick from. Some the appetizers for the all you can eat was not my favorite but I was very impressed by the quality of the Sushi. The service was awesome. Then waitresses gave us great suggestions and check in frequently.

Hidden little spot in the hills above Reno. AYCE is a great price. This place has something for everyone, even your little ones. The food was delicious. I love that the Nigiri was in tiny bite size pieces and that the rolls were not too huge. We were able to try a larger variety of the menu because the portions weren’t huge. The staff was super friendly and the AYCE was made very quickly. Unfortunately my 5 year old had to wait a little while longer than she could bear, so the staff brought her a little treat to calm her down. Overall I enjoyed the food, staff & ambiance.

Wow!! Everything was top box. The owner even took time to visit with me and ensure my visit was exemplary. What sets this restaurant apart from its competition is the sushi. The sushi rolls are around 8-10 pieces, but the pieces are smaller. This is due to not inundating the sushi with rice. The All You Can Eat option allows you to taste many things, and, due to less rice, you’re able to taste the different flavors. It really is an amazing decision to ensure the customer is able to enjoy the sushi as a whole. They also have some very intriguing and tasty combinations where lemon is used. Finally, the presentation of each dish was quite creative and the attentiveness by the staff to the patron was really impressive. This place is passionate about sushi and delighting the guest.

Sad to write this review but this is the first time I’ve left without finishing a meal. From the beginning, when waiting for a table it took over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the host stand, even though it was not busy. Once we finally got a table, service started out relatively well. We ordered 5 rolls for AYCE and it came out in 10 minutes. We then put in our second order of 7 rolls.
At the same time, one member of our party was waiting for an Al la carte teriyaki chicken bento box , which was admittedly forgotten by the staff. After they noticed the mistake, she was only given teriyaki chicken instead of the the full bento box (missing California roll, tempura shrimp, and miso soup).
For the 7 rolls we ordered, we waited over 35 minutes. Even so, we didn’t receive all of the rolls before we were asked if we wanted our check. We did ask for our dessert after paying, and waited another 20 minutes before deciding to leave without it. Quite a disappointment experience, we left an AYCE meal hungry and dissatisfied.
I will say there was one plus which was a nice bus boy who was the only individual to check on us and give us water. Other than that we felt ignored and burdens

Delicious sushi! This is our weekly sushi splurge place. The rolls are works of art, full of flavor and taste amazing. The salmon, escolar, yellow tail, and tuna nigiri are fresh and delightful.
We met the owner, Edgar, on our last visit and he is kind, caring and oh so hard working. He wants each meal to be perfect and each customer to be satisfied. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, the service is fast and friendly and the food is yummy. We highly recommend Sushimi’s.

Great sushi, pretty good price for what you get. Not overly expensive. The service is extremely prompt and helpful. Lots of good roles, cooked or raw. Good appetizers. The edamame is freaking amazing. Would highly recommend.

Me and my wife come here often, but last week we were treated poorly. Right when we sit down a few minutes later another table gets sat down, and the waitress takes their orders first before ours and also we haven’t been asked what we would like to drink yet at this point. About 5 minutes later we finally get asked what we would like to drink. Later on that evening we get the wrong sushi orders but we try them anyways. We continue to order more rolls and the waitress comes over to tell us that if we leave any food left over we will be charged, so we say we never leave any rolls left behind but we want to speak with the manager because we feel like we’re being treated like second class citizens. Manager comes over and tells us how they get taken advantage of with the rolls and we say well we’ve been coming here for years and not once have we had an encounter like this. Nothing gets resolved we still get treated poorly. Never coming back again.
