Found this place while visiting Albuquerque. It is a new sushi spot and it is very good. I was impressed with the service and hospitality. Their prices are not and their sushi is delicious. They also give you a complimentary miso soup and a dessert orange that is cut into the shape of a teddy bear! They also sell authentic Japanese drinks and snacks. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is a gem.

Sooooo delicious! Definitely the spot to go to in Nob Hill— such wonderful service, you do go to the counter to order after they seat you and they bring you miso soup before your food. My new regular spot for sure!! Had the best Valentine’s Day dinner tysm to the workers for making it feel so special <3

Wow. Unbelievably fast service. I walked in at 1:31 pm. Placed my order by 1:34 PM. Appetizer came out by 1:36 PM. Ordered a simple fresh water eel sushi and was served by 1:39 pm. Unbelievably fast service. Gyoza came out perfect. Side of white rice perfect. This place has blown me away! They’re almost as fast as Jimmy John’s!

Stopped in for a late quick lunch and this restaurant did not disappoint! The service is excellent and the food is amazing! I highly recommend . Will be back during my time here!

Can’t wait to come back! The ramen was amazing. Tasted wonderful – perfect comfort food. It was a large portion as well. The restaurant was very clean and has an uplifting atmosphere, and the staff were so friendly. The ice cream mochi was great (and I’m very particular about mochi). I will definitely be coming back!

This place is so so good! Don’t expect high end sushi here- small-ish menu, they have a lot of different styles of shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, and California rolls, lots of options for sashimi and nigiri though. Honestly despite the small menu for sushi all of it was so delicious! Got some gyoza as well, fried, very good and crunchy! Also have noodle dishes, ramen, and some Korean options. Literally something for everyone. And very reasonably priced! The lady was also sooooo friendly and even gave me a free ice cream! Will definitely be back!

I came last night around 6PM, and had a good time. Firstly, the service was very good. They were very attentive and polite. The quality of the tonkotsu ramen and the Sandia roll was perfect, especially the broth of the ramen and the topping used on the sushi. I came to take pictures of the food for my instagram, and left with a great meal. To top it off, they provided me with a complimentary ice cream which is a great way to end a meal. I highly recommend Sushibucks for anyone who is craving a very cozy Japanese cuisine and delicious memorable food.

This is such a super cute hole in the wall. It’s self order but we still had great service by the attentive staff. The fish was of the better we’ve had in New Mexico. We even got a complimentary ice cream. I didn’t know I liked Coconut Melona but I do now.

First off, I love how hidden this place was And unsuspecting. We actually ended up here by accident trying to go to a next-door restaurant, when all the sudden we stumbled across this hidden gem. First things first, the Tonkatsu Ramen as well as the Udon Ramen were packed with and perfect texture. The tonkatsu was spicy! But good spicy not obnoxious.
We were also surprised how fresh the spicy tuna rolls were! Amazing – and we will be coming back here frequently!!! I am sold that this is the number one sushi spot in Albuquerque, which I was not anticipating to claim – But after trying Sushi from all over the world, I feel like this was the freshest and tastiest sushi I’ve had in town. Periodt. The orange desert on the house was a very thoughtful touch!!

The jjamppong (pictured) is one of my new favorite dishes, anywhere. The seafood quality is very high, the spice level is perfect, the udon noodles are hearty. I’d love to have this meal anytime, but it would be especially awesome if I have a cold!
