The restaurant has about 9-10 tables plus 7-8 seats at the sushi bar. We went on Tuesday around 5:30 pm and there was one table available – lucky us. It looks like there were a lot of order out, which I’m not surprised since the food is really delicious.

This sushi restaurant is the best! From the time I entered I was welcomed. You do not feel this way at many restaurants now a days. The wait staff were excellent and quick to bring me a menu and drink order taken. The food was amazing! Not too many places place wasabi on the rice for you for your nigiri, they do! I was pleasantly surprised! The rolls were excellent too! I highly recommend to anyone! To the business owners, and staff, you do amazing work and it does not go unnoticed. Thank you! I will definitely be returning.

I had a fabulous experience here! Everyone inside was so incredibly welcoming. I came in to enjoy a lunch by myself, and my server was wonderful. The young server with blonde ish hair, wish I could’ve caught his name. He was so attentive, but not over bearing. He checked on me and my food and never let my drink go empty. He works very hard and deserves some recognition! I will certainly be back!

Great food here, I honestly loved it all. We ordered a lot cause it was my birthday, but you can definitely get a filling meal that’s not too expressive. The sashimi was my favorite, very fresh and delicious.

Needed my Tampopo fix. Hadn’t been here in a while. Warm and welcoming environment, well maintained. The food is beautifully presented, absolutely delicious. This visit was for the soup, but the sushi is also outstanding.

My wife and I were given the privilege to go sport fishing in San Diego and came home with a beautiful Mahi Mahi (Dorado). We drove straight to Sushi Zona for our favorite Chef Taichi to prepare our 20 hour old catch. We were not disappointed, he did an amazing job cleaning and preparing the fish. He served us Sashimi, Nigiri and grilled fish, including the grilled collar from our catch. It was the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life. All of the staff was polite, timely and friendly. The ambiance at night was amazing. I would recommend Sushi Zona to anyone in Tucson without a second thought. Thank you so much Chef Taichi and staff, you have all given our family a very special memorable moment.

We ordered Deluxe Bento and Triple Crown Bento. The nigiri sushi’s bottom rice part was too dense for me; I prefer fluffy, light rice that isn’t so packed together. But overall we like it and will come back again.

Disappointed with my to go order of the sashimi sushi boat. Had to wait an extra 10 minutes after I arrived after they said 20 minutes on the phone. There were only 2 packs of soy sauce in the order (did not have any at home). It came with 6 California rolls, not sure the name of everything else but it was expensive for having the California rolls. The white fish on the roll of the right side next to shrimp had an odd taste and it rest was just ok. It came with 2 small soups, 2 salads, and two containers of rice.
