I almost cannot believe this place is in Round Rock! I love sushi and this is the BEST sushi I have had in over 10 years. Nigiri and Sashimi were great portions and rolls were Amazing! If you like avocados and seafood the Avocado Bomb for an appetizer is a must-listed in first picture. This place is small so make sure to call ahead to get wait time. We will back here very often.

I just came back from an extended trip to Japan – this place is comparable to the best sushi I had there

Texas has very few good sushi places and none in Austin, until now. Despite being Korean run this store follows the same principles as high end Japanese sushi – highest quality fish, carefully cut and assorted with garnishes already applied

Be warned, the prices are on the higher side but this is a case of getting what you pay for. The assorted sashimi runs between $48 to $90, but you’re getting top grade fish. The sashimi salad was only $18 and came with a decent amount of fish but you can taste the quality difference (the latter being coated in sauce to compensate)

We got the takoyaki, tako wasabi, karaage, agedashi tofu and tempura as starters. All were good but the tako wasabi and the karaage were standouts.

We got the blue crab and spicy salmon rolls which were both fairly decent

They have regional Fukuoka specialties like mentaiko (spicy cod roe) squid, but unfortunately we didn’t end up getting that

What you want here is the sashimi. Nothing in Austin is remotely as good as Sushi Yume at it, and the fact that by 6 pm they’re turning customers away because they’re fully booked up tells you that

They make your sushi dreams a reality here! Visiting from California and can say this sushi place is top tier! Sashimi is super fresh, no fishy smell. Great portion size and good price, taste is amazing! Keep up the good work thanks for the ice cream!

Highly recommend their hand rolls! Hot? Try their ice cream and drinks! They have ube, matcha and black sesame. Be kind to their staff!

I finally understand why this place has gone so viral on social media — it truly lives up to the hype! The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh, with the kind of clean flavor that tells you the fish is top quality. Every bite felt light yet satisfying.

I also tried a few of their rolls and was really impressed. The Tiger Roll in particular is a must-try — flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. It’s the kind of roll that makes you want to come back just for it.

I kept hearing great things about their noodles, and while I didn’t have room to try them this time, it just gives me another reason to return. The menu overall has a lot of variety, so I’m already planning my next visit to explore more dishes.

On top of the food, the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get, which makes the experience even better. Friendly vibes, delicious Japanese food, and great value — this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back for sure!

This restaurant was recommended to us by several people. We stopped in for dinner tonight. It was a real treat. Good, clean, fresh ingredients. The best Spicy Scallop Handroll ever. The Agadashi Tofu was incredible. The Chirashi Don was fantastic. It came with some Uni and Ikura, and served on the best bed of rice. We will definitely come back.

Sushi Yume is a not so hidden gem anymore in Round Rock. This place is bumping but for a good reason. It’s my favorite local sushi spot, they have outstanding quality fish and every dish is delicious. Their lunch specials are IT. Very affordable for the quality you get, with tons of options. I crave this spot all the time!
There’s a huge parking lot and the restaurant isn’t very big. It gets crowded during busy lunch rush.

The yuzu ice cream is amazing. Long wait times sometimes but it’s worth it! Service is phenomenal and personally love their taste in music too 🙂

My favorite sushi spot in Round Rock! I’ve enjoyed every dish I’ve tried here. I first came thanks to a colleague’s recommendation, and now it’s one of my go-to lunch spots when we want to eat out.

Their lunch menu is fantastic, and I love their fried squid and chirashi don as well. Highly recommend this place!

I had very high expectations because all of my austin friends rave about this place. well it truly lived up to the hype! I ordered the 8 piece nigiri set and wow the fish was so satisfyingly thick and fresh. they even gave 2 extra pieces! I also loved that they played throwback kpop songs so it was lively and fun. though my friend and I waited about 1.5-2 hours on the friday dinner waitlist, I would do it again.
