To be honest, this was a place I used to order for quantity not for quality.(felt like it was a factory.) However, I clearly saw the huge difference in quality and portion! Whatever it happened (maybe different owner..?), we are so happy to have good sushi restaurants in neighborhoods! One day, we ordered two small orders within 30mins because it was great and we got the bigger craving for salmon.

Tried sushi for takeout here for the first time — everything was fresh and tasty! Prices are great and my order was ready super fast. Probably wouldn’t eat in, as the place feels a bit dated, but perfect for takeout!

my order through uber eats: chicken katsu, agedashi tofu, veggie spring roll, matcha bubble tea
chicken katsu: it’s bad, DO NOT RECOMMEND. there’s a strange rawish taste to it. the chicken is thinner than the tip of my finger haha. the breading is very oily, thick, solid, and it’s hard to chew. it comes with salad, white rice and miso. they charged 2$ for changing white rice to brown rice. rice and miso are tasty (hard to screw it up)
agedashi tofu: it’s ok, not the worst, not the best
veggie spring roll: it was good, i recommend (hard to screw up as most likely cooked from frozen premade packs you can find in supermarkets)
matcha bubble tea: it’s good for the price! the pearls are fully cooked, they are not sticky and very easy to chew
OVERALL: very disappointed with katsu, it’s not worth its money at all. won’t be coming back

Horrible customer service went there with two members of my family all 3 of us were sick. The next day with food poisoning. Their broth tastes like they used vinegar to cover up that it had gone bad, the meat in their soups was seriously questionable.

RECOMMENDED! The staff are incredibly welcoming. The food has been great! I ordered a chicken teriyaki donburi/rice bowl and it was perfect. The sauce wasn’t heavy and the amount was just right. I also ordered a classic California roll, which I thought was decent and on-par with others.
The prices are too generous. I think they can go higher for the kind of service and quality they provide. For the average consumer, I think they’ll definitely get their money’s worth!

We order from here all the time on door dash and it’s great I highly suggest only ordering take out don’t sit in. They brought out my husbands dish and didn’t bring another dish for 15 mins when there was 5 of us at the table. We had to wave someone down to order. The food was great just the costumer service is terrible. The place is supper run down inside and the menus look like they will fall apart. Had to wait someone down again to get the check after waiting 15 mins for them to bring it over. They we’re way more interested in doing online orders then anything.
