This shopping location has a few yummy places I frequent. Just avoid this area when we have torrential rains, if you do not you will notice the parking lot is mostly flooded. I dine at this place because of my three favorite dishes. The unagi don, softshell crab, the JB Roll, and the fried calamari (my apologies my foto was very blurry) and could not post it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Each time I dine here for my faves I feel much cozier and satisfied. ✌ ☺️

Unfortunately, the dishes were hit or miss, mostly miss. The shrimp tempura roll was good, comparable in flavor to other spots around but did not shine. The beef sticks appetizer were alright. They reminded me of a higher end quality of the ones from a Pupu Platter at a Chinese restaurant flavorwise. Nothing wrong with them, but not really my thing, so i probably would not have them again. The vegetable fried rice was not bad, but also would not reorder since I have had better at other places and would not go out of my way to order it as an extra item. I had the teriyaki salmon from the grill, which was quite good. It was served with Miso Soup or Salad, which I opted for Miso Soup and came accompanied by white rice and vegetables. Unfortunately, they would not substitute for fried rice in the meal when asked, which was not only disappointing, but also the reason I was convinced to order a side of fried rice when prompted. I also was a bit disappoint you do not get both a Soup and a salad, like other restaurants of its kind would offer. I also tried a bit of my girlfriends grilled chicken meal from the grill, which she got with similar sides. I would not recommend as I did not enjoy the flavor of the sauce. It did not remind me of a traditional asian flavor that i am used to. Id say more of like a Mediterranean flavor since it reminded with notes of lemon and peppers. In summary, it was a bit pricey, and only one item I would say was super enjoyable, so I probably would not return. It’s not a bad spot as the service and order accuracy were on target, but would not be my preference.

Edit update on 2nd visit 3 stars, the dynamite roll has 1 scallop on the whole thing and the rest were barely recognizable as scallops and were minced so finely that it just looked like part of the clumped up Mayo sauce.
On the ell roll normally It comes with 2 pieces of unagi inside the hand roll, this time It came with 1 small piece and was 90% rice with one tiny piece of cucumber.
I don’t know what happened, but the quality definitely went down.

Ginger salad is bland the dressing has no flavor and no cucumbers on the salad just a random piece of broccoli. The roll was so small and definitely not the greatest quality. I was rather disappointed.

The lunch Sushi-Sashimi Bento Box was very good. The size of the sashimi pieces were larger than I had received at other restaurants. The box also included two very tasty tempura shrimp. Fried crispy, but not at all greasy. With soup or salad. Very friendly service.

We moved away and haven’t been here in a several years. So when we were in the area we had to go! And it is still amazing! This is the best sushi we have had in Palm Beach County! It has never dissapointed. The staff is always friendly and treat you like family. I have had several different sushi rolls and all delicious. The dinning space is small and cozy but perfect for a casual date night. My wife loves the crab Rangoons. The gyoza is a favorite as well. Don’t hesitate to eat here when you crave sushi. We will be back soon!
