I normally do not try sushi places outside of my usual favorites, but I decided to take a chance on my lunch break. I was super pleasantly surprised by the quality of fish i was given, especially since this is an all you can eat restaurant. The fish was excellent quality, especially the salmon which was incredibly tender and buttery. It was busy when I came in, but I was sat to the left of the restaurant where there wasn’t much of a crowd which was very nice. My server was attentive, and I will definitely be returning on future lunch breaks.

I have gone multiple times now and it has been constantly good . The good quality is solid, it’s a comfortable setting, and the service was very appreciative and good. Food came out fast and as ordered. It is not a luxurious place and very approachable…meaning if I could I would go multiple times a week and not only for special occasions. As a 30+ year restaurantuer I’m recommending it highly and feel it’s money WELL spent. I wish them much future success.

We were in Jacksonville for one night last night and heard a lot of good things about Sushi X and our hotel near by even recommended it when we asked about some good sushi spots near by. We ate on a Tuesday night, got there around 730pm and there was a wait (thats how you know its good that theres a wait on a week night!). We sat around 750pm. That’s when it started feeling off. I will preface this with the fact that the food was good. The hibachi was good and the sushi wasnt the most absolute amazing, but for the price and for being all you can eat, its definitely one of the better ones we have had in florida.

Now for the bad part, the service:
The server gave us the menus and numbered our placemats, asked about drinks, then just walked away, didnt ask if we had been there before, didnt ask if we knew how to order, just left. Thankfully we have been to enough all you can eat that after finding the cup of slips on the table we figured out we had to each write out our own slip for what we wanted and write the number on it for the number he wrote on our placemats instead of traditionally where most places have you order as a table. He came and dropped our drinks and did not say anything or take our slips. We sat there for about 15 minutes of him walking back and forth not even acknowledging us to pick up the slips for our first round of order. We had to wave him down to try to get him to take them. Once he did he still didnt say anything, just took them and walked away.

We waited about 15 minutes and the kitchen items started coming out, then about another 15 minutes before sushi started coming out for one of us, the other person in our party that ordered sushi got his about 10ish minutes after. I fully understand it being busy and the sushi taking time, that was fine, and noticing it was taking time, we preemptively filled out slips for our second round to be ready to hand off as we were getting our sushi delivered, but again, the server dropped the sushi and left without saying anything other than the seat number it was being dropped at. We again had to wave him over to give him our slips for the second round.

I will say there was a female server that did stop by a few times asking if we needed drink refills, and she brought out kitchen items from our second round and asked if we needed anything as she dropped them. I feel like if we had her as our actual server we would have had a way better experience, but the one we had just honestly ruined it for us.

I would not consider myself a sushi fan in the slightest but I came here at the suggestion of a friend and was impressed. I feel like it can be a pretty solid value considering it’s roughly $22 and it’s all-you-can-eat (with the caveat that you pay a fee for any plate you do not finish). I do have some nitpicks however. The staff did not take the time to explain or offer to explain how the ordering system worked, so I was thankful to be with friends who already knew. Additionally, I primarily ordered grilled meat and my food routinely took longer to be served. This is likely intentional considering they’d lose money if people ordered purely meat, but it was odd having my food come out half as fast as my friends. Finally, the cucumber salad is… Not what I’d consider a salad (see the attached picture). I do wish the restaurant was larger though, as I’d like to visit with a larger group of friends. With all this being said however, I look forward to visiting again.

Definitely my new go-to AYCE sushi spot! Everything was on point—from the quality to the presentation—and the vibe inside makes you feel like you’re not even in Jacksonville. Service was quick and attentive, and I already can’t wait to come back.

This is a relaxing and delicious place to have all you can eat sushi among other delicious dishes.

They actually follow proper distancing measurements unlike Fuji restaurant who only cares about your money. We love it here, we come every other week. And they don’t include a mandatory gratitude tip unlike the restaurant named above. But most important of all, they have better sushi, service and customer satisfaction guaranteed than Fuji.

They have a certain server who we love seeing, she is kind and attentive. The other servers we’ve had were not as attentive. We leave a decent tip only when the server we like is there, because the other 2 we’ve had will either not fill your drink but once, or check on you as often.

We arrived around noon and had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. It’s all-you-can eat, made to order food for $15.99.
No leftovers! .75 per wasted item.
Limit 1 hour at the table.
The inside is loud and a bit chaotic.
The wait staff was very friendly and explained everything, since it was our first time visiting.
The sushi was good but not great, the miso was lacking flavor too. I tried ordering veggie tempura but it never arrived. I even asked the server about it???
With the amount of people constantly coming in and out, we were shocked how fast the food was coming to the table. It was impressive.

Cozy little spot.
Food was fresh and tasty.
Service was adequate.
I like this place better than any of All-You-Can-Eat Sushi/Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in Jacksonville.
The fish/seafood looks fresher and the presentation, especially, on the sashimi is much better here.
I’ll be back for sure.

I have been going to Sushi X for years. It is not always the best quality, but you get what you pay for. The food is decent for a $20 all you can eat sushi place. They can get pretty busy at times so there typically is a wait and service can be slow, but that is expected. I am giving a 3 star rating because I have had experiences with rude/inattentive staff, missing orders, and the sushi often comes with more rice than fish. I will continue to eat at Sushi X, but just don’t set your expectations too high. It is good for what it is!
