Juan- I believe is his name. He is the person who greets you and helps! He is so nice! We enjoy his service every time! The sushi is fun and consistent as well. Start with an order of the avocado bombs… I don’t know the name but that’s why I call it and they send them out, so delish! Then We normally end the night with the fried ice cream all the staff has been great in all of our visits!

For our 9 year anniversary we drove up to Olympia to go to the Sushi Train and it did not disappoint! Two amazing chiefs stood in the middle of it all putting out delicious plates of sushi nonstop. We love conveyor belt sushi but hadn’t found one in this area, now we know where to go! We also had a small bottle of peach sake which was dangerously good. Absolutely love the place and will come back!!

I walked in to check it out. Well, to my disbelief it has a vintage Tokyo feel. On top of that, sushi is simple but beautiful in quality and balance.
If you have been to Japan and if you are in love with a lovely seasoned rice. This is the place for. Aside from the classic rolls, there was one roll that stood out – Survivor Roll. The song that started in the back of my head…. “I’m a survi vor.

I took my kids for sushi night and it was a fun experience but they were hoping for more veggie rolls on the conveyor belt. They were pretty busy but the servers were attentive. The rolls we tried were fresh and tasted pretty good. The cost depends on the color of the little plates. The fried ice cream was alright. All in all not a bad experience.

1st ever time to one of these style sushi spots with the rotating track of food…Wasn’t expecting much but to my surprise, the food was solid! Fairly priced! And the service was good. Got sat really fast and with 30 secs of sitting down I was eating a shrimp tempura roll followed by many others! All were good, def not the best sushi I have ever had but for what I would consider “fast food” it was very very good for a quick, affordable Saturday lunch. The calamari appetizer is also fantastic!

Lots of plate price options, not the typical one size fits all. Normal high priced rolls cut in half so you can have some fancy ones while not breaking the bank or feel like you have to go hungry just because you wanted more than a simple roll for lunch. A good variety of roll options in general. Overall was quite good food. It’s not like you are eating fresh caught fish but it’s also much better than what you find at a conveyor belt sushi in a shopping center.
Super friendly staff. Clean and welcoming restaurant. Perfect for meeting up with friends or meal with the family.
Will be eating here again.

This was not my first choice for sushi today but the other place I wanted to had a long wait time. In saying that, this was my first visit to Sushi Train and it did not disappoint. It is a cozy little place with friendly staff, ok decor and most of all the food was delicious. We decided to order off the menu instead of the conveyor belt. We got a side seaweed salad and I could have ate my weight in that salad, so good. The rolls we ordered were the Wow, Rock and Roll, Lava and Sushi Train. They all differed from each other and were good in their own right but I really liked the Rock and Roll and Lava Roll. Going in I was not expecting much but I went away thinking I would recommend this place.

I think I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years? One of the few sushi belts that I know of in the PNW, at least near Olympia anyways. I love coming here because I love sushi variety and the belt is so fun. It all tastes great and staff are friendly and attentive. It’s great being able to pick your plates, although they don’t have very many of the cheapest yellow plates.

IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR GREAT SUSHI AND FAST SERVICE LOOK NO FURTHER!! We love going to Sushi Train. It’s a rotary sushi type of resto, but they do have booths. They’re never too busy which is surprising considering how great the sushi, prices, and service are. We are always seated right away. Kid friendly! We always get the rainbow roll (empty plate because we devour it in minutes) and then pick from the rotary belt if we want anything extra. The staff are really friendly! Miso soup is complimentary, other places charge like $3 for it. Such a nice small sushi joint in Lacey. We’re hoping it sticks around for our sushi fixes 🙂
