Today I ordered from here for the first time, trying a new sushi spot in my area. I have to say, amazin and fresh. I will definitely be ordering from here again. The service was also great. They forgot to put soy sauce in my order, simple mistake and they sent it over ASAP.

I have been coming since 2009, when this place first opened. It’s a small place, but it does look like a hole-in-the-wall spot. Normally, those are the best spots. It’s a very good place. Jen and everyone who works there is very friendly and accommodating. The sushi is outstanding. The place is a gem! I highly recommend it!

Love this spot! It has become my go-to sushi place within Forest Hills. I have placed both small and big (like platters) orders with them. Their food is fresh and delicious, with plenty of options. Equally importantly, their service is always wonderful and prompt. Can’t wait to have sushi from them again soon 🙂

Decided to check out this local sushi spot on Austin St. after noticing the steady foot traffic. It’s a small place with just two tables, but the sushi is made fresh on-site. Some rolls were delicious, while others could use a bit more flavor—but overall, it’s a solid option for what and where it is. Don’t expect a fancy presentation or upscale atmosphere—just simple, friendly service and satisfying sushi.

This place has the tastiest, freshest sushi. The spicy tuna flavor is spot on, no other place makes it that good. All their other fish and rolls are amazing. I have been eating at this spot since it opened over 15 years ago, and there were years where I would dine here almost every weekend during college… and the freshness, taste and quality has always been consistent and amazing, I was never disappointed. Now that it’s winter, I highly recommend getting the cozy hot udon soup. Their miso soup is perfect too, the yummiest miso soup out of any sushi place I ever tried and I have tried many. I unfortunately moved far so I still drive all the way out here to get sushi. The owners are so sweet, and I always recommend this place to everyone.

First time trying this place, it was small for a dine in so i did take out, got mango tago, lucky 7 roll and california maki, it was really good, they made it as you order it.. The staff was friendy.. For a sushi lover like me,it did not disappoint and i would definitely comeback and try their other variant of sushi.

i think it’s fine, but I don’t really understand the super glowing reviews posted here and elsewhere online (best sushi in forest hills, etc). some special rolls are good and innovative, but you can find some unique rolls at many of the larger or upscale sushi restaurants. for the normal rolls, they were fine, but i didn’t find them better than the average cheaper sushi place. over all, i found it somewhat overpriced for what i got and i don’t see myself returning often.
