I love this place. As someone who loves sushi, I’ve tried a lot of places. Something about the way this place makes sushi is special. I love the Takumi Roll. I get it every time. That roll has the perfect balance of ingredients. Definitely give this place a try. Just don’t park in the lot next door, because that’s private parking for another property. You don’t wanna get towed.

I ordered the sushi deluxe, but when I got home I realized it was actually sashimi. I went back to the restaurant to exchange it, but they refused. According to them, sushi means sashimi and if I wanted rolls I should have ordered “sushi rolls.” Very disappointing customer service. In the end I gave the food to a homeless person, who was very happy to receive it.

Amazing sushi place! It was very fresh and you could tell they use high quality ingredients. The place is small but very cozy!!! The salmon roll was amazing. I will definitely come back.

LOVED this place. Popped in with my friends visiting from NYC and was so blown away we came right back the next day and ordered even more food.
Service was quick and efficient, and the chef even offered his recommendations based on what we were ordering. The atmosphere is lovely, with cute decor, including eclectic and colorful parasols hanging from the ceiling. Super clean, too. The fish was fresh, juicy and expertly prepared.
I would have to pay way more for this kind of quality back home! I cannot emphasize enough what a great value this was.

Just had dinner on their first night open. Delicious, creative sushi rolls (we tried the Tokyo roll), fresh sashimi. We even got to try the beef curry, added a nice warm savory note to our dinner.
They are designed for takeout, but have seating inside. Would be great for a weekday work lunch or grabbing dinner on the way home, if you work/live nearby.
A welcome addition to the neighborhood, I will be stopping in again.

Ordered thru Uber Eats. All of the rice was gummy and not good. There was no crunchy in the crunchy roll. The gyoza were over cooked and gummy. The spicy tuna roll was not good at all. Edamame was undercooked and hard. Everything seems poor quality. I would not recommend this sushi restaurant.

Yes, it’s more a grab-and-go place but they do have couple tables for dine in. The sushi is simply phenomenal – every piece was a testament to freshness, with perfectly seasoned rice and impeccably cut fish that melted in your mouth. One of the best sushi experiences I’ve had. Strongly recommended!

The sushi left a lot to be desired. There are lots of great sushi spots in New Orleans and this one didn’t meet my expectations. Salmon lacked flavor, rice was gummy, and some rolls barely had fish. It was fresh but not the most delicious sushi.

My Dad and I went in to grab some sushi, don’t get to spend much time as schedules don’t align. After my dad placed one order, I didn’t even get the chance to order without the dude at the register being extremely rude and screaming “to go, fifty dollar minimum for table”. Extremely rude, I intended to place a big enough order to cover that. But attitude was extremely rude like customers are bothering them. And the restaurant was completely empty so it’s not like they didn’t have the space
