Only after I sat down did I notice this place didn’t have the best reviews. I wanted to hop on here and give my honest review. I am not sure if maybe they changed ownership or management recently, but I actually thought the food and service were very good. The food was good quality, it was made quickly, and I thought the staff were very friendly. I stopped by for a quick bite before girls night to have something in my stomach before drinking. I would return again. Here’s a photos of my Sexy Lady roll. It was quite tasty. I’d give them a chance if you’re in the neighborhood.

My 2nd time here I had the baked Salmon Roll. The first time I ordered this the Salmon was cut much thicker on the roll which I enjoyed. The 2nd time ordering the salmon roll the fish was much thinner. Consistency would be nice such as the thick slices that was made the very first time. I love that its baked cause i dont always like to eat raw fish. Long story short this food was delicious!!! And customer service I had no issues with the staff checked on me and was very attentive. I don’t understand the reviews hating on the customer service here. I’ve been like seven times and they’re always really cool and nice. Maybe they started out understaffed and that led to the problems. But anyway the sushi is good and I recommend this place.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Taka! I had two different rolls + some sushi and it was delicious, fresh, and well prepared and designed. The server was very nice and kind. The place is also clean and cozy! They have a great happy hour deal which is all day long during the weekends! I highly recommend this place.

I’m genuinely confused by the bad reviews, maybe people just have high standards or this place has a bad employee I didn’t encounter. But the woman (I think may have been the owner) helping us was amazing and extremely kind, probably some of the best service I’ve ever encountered. She was literally running across the restaurant to be as efficient as possible, even the guy behind us made a comment about how it was the fastest he ever gotten his food. The sushi itself was also extremely fresh, and I myself am pretty picky about fish quality as I’ve had a lot of good and bad fish.

Will never return to this place! I came to pick up my order, which was supposed to be ready. I was greeted by a young man at the checkout. He was rude. I waited over 20 minutes for my order. The food I received looked terrible.

We’ve ordered from this location over 75-100 times! We’ve never had a reason to interact with their staff until today, when we had an issue with our order. We wanted to make a change to the roll we ordered and we were told there was nothing they could do for us given they had already started preparing our order… what? All we wanted to do was add an item on. We pushed it further and said surly there’s something we can do, so she “spoke to the chef” who basically said no. So long story short, I hope one day they realize that loyal customers are worth way more than what a simple customer service gesture would have cost them.

I went to sushi take when I was visiting my sisters and staying at the ac hotel across the street.
We wanted sushi on a Friday night so we walked over and were seated right away. No line or wait time. Waitress was patient and gave us time to look over the menu.
I ended up getting a spicy salmon type of roll, and my sister got the mango roll which she really enjoyed. That combination was really unique and I’ve rarely seen fruit in any of my sushi rolls.
Great service and great sushi! Will be back for sure. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I had to have gluten free so she brought me the gluten free soy sauce.
OH! They have a really rad happy hour that goes everyday and honors 15% off of your rolls, killer deal!

The person in charge is incompetent and somewhat lazy since the order that was supposed to be ready at a certain time took 20 more minutes and all because she has many tablets on her counter will have been confused and that caused her not to be able to put the order to your kitchen.
Also the woman was mean and little help.
I will avoid going to this sushi place again, by the way there are better than this restaurant.
