I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but in this case I feel it’s necessary.

This was my first visit. The atmosphere and restaurant layout were nice and welcoming. I ordered takeout and was initially told the wait time would be 20 minutes. I returned about 30 minutes later and still had to wait another 5 minutes before being told the order would be ready soon. In total, it took over 40 minutes to receive my food.

The Sashimi Appetizer did not include any salmon, which the menu suggested and happens to be my favorite. The presentation was nice and the fish was decent, but the portion sizes were smaller cuts than expected.

I also ordered the Angel’s Choice hibachi, which included steak, chicken, rice, and vegetables. For $45, the portion size of the steak and chicken did not feel like a good value, and the flavor was just average. The rice was also lacking seasoning and will need additional flavoring before reheating.

Additionally, I tried the miso soup the following day, and unfortunately it was not edible. The flavor was unpleasant and off-putting to the point that I could not finish it.

For a total of $69.55, I did not find this to be a good value for the quality and portion sizes received. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Sushi Sake Coral Springs is one of my favorite places to go when I want a beautiful, family-friendly dining experience with great food and an even better atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely stunning, and the vibes are always warm and inviting, whether you’re there with family or friends.

I love that they offer comfortable indoor dining along with a great bar area. I’ve come with my friends just to grab drinks at the bar, and it’s always a fun, relaxed spot to hang out.

The service is truly impeccable. The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes sure everyone is taken care of from start to finish. The food is consistently delicious, and that’s a big reason I keep coming back. My favorite thing about Sushi Sake Coral Springs is their lunch specials, happy hour deals, and rotating specials, which always make dining there a great value.

My go-to order is the hibachi shrimp paired with a blueberry mojito, which is always perfect. Overall, Sushi Sake Coral Springs delivers an incredible experience with great food, amazing service, and a welcoming atmosphere that works just as well for family dinners as it does for nights out with friends at Sushi Sake Coral Springs.

I ordered takeout for my first impression of this restaurant. I ordered Gyoza, Tuna Sashimi, and Pineapple fried rice. I live less than 10 min away so temperature was not an issue.
Gyoza (fried) was cooked perfectly; tender meat, juicy filling, and crispy on the outside. Compared to the dry and rubbery product that has become so common. Sashimi was all right, definitely tender enough. However the taste didn’t have the sweet freshness found in higher quality fresh fish. If put on a scale of 1-10 I’d give it a 4. Lastly the pineapple fried rice had the texture and presentation perfect. Unfortunately the chicken was cooked til dry; in comparison the shrimp and beef were close to perfection. The pineapple fried rice also had this overall taste of bitterness which was hard to objectively pinpoint as any one flavor.
First Impression of the restaurant; dining area is clean, staff is wonderful, and atmosphere is spot on. Bar was not busy, but still attended to, even while slow. Staff accommodated even whilst preoccupied with other tasks. Overall look and vibe is simplistic yet refined enough for a weekend night out.

First time ordering from this new sushi sake location. Prices online were more than what their take out menu was listed for, not sure if it was due to it being through door dash even if it was a pick up order…just thought that was weird. It took a little over 30 minutes for it to be ready, which shouldn’t be because they literally just opened and not one table was inside. Thank goodness our sushi tasted good. I had the caliente roll and my husband has the Miami heat roll. Pretty restaurant inside though

Nice atmosphere and attentive server, but overall a disappointing experience. They were out of basic drinks like lemonade and mocktails. Our appetizer was great and came quickly, but the sushi rolls took an entire hour to arrive, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The place has potential, but they seriously need more staff and faster service.

We arrived at 6:40 and were literally the only ones there. We ordered a couple of miso soups, which took 35min to get to the table. It wasnt very flavorful… My daughter’s hand roll was not good either – soggy seaweed. I ordered 4 niguiris: shrimp, scallop, uni and yellow tail. I only got three of them and had to remind the waitress. Yellow tail was not fresh (pretty hard), and the scallop one was wrapped in seaweed – soggy again! So service was sloppy, food was below average, and the place is not really appealing. I decided to try it because I had gone to the one in Boca and had a great experience there, but not going back to the one in Coral Springs.

Sushi Sake Coral Springs is simply spectacular. I went for lunch with friends and we tried several dishes, but the star was definitely the “Calle 8” — an absolute flavor bomb, incredibly good! The fried special rice and the tempura prawns were perfectly cooked, crispy, and delicious. The place has an excellent atmosphere and is very clean, which I truly value. Ideal for a fun outing with friends or even a romantic date. Highly recommended for those seeking quality, flavor, and a complete dining experience.

Friendly service but very, very mediocre sushi. Thin slices of fish, gummy ikura, weak chalky wasabi, hard rice.

Normally I’m hesitant to rate a new spot so low, but these issues felt systematic to the chain as a whole, so it’s not something that would be ironed out by time alone.

There’s just much better sushi all around the area for the same price, if not lower.

Pros: the sautéed veggies were nice.

Maybe this is a spot that’s best for cooked food instead of sushi. But it’s strange to have sushi in your name and serve such thin, medium quality fish.

I wouldn’t go back here for sushi.
