The place looks good on the pics and in reality. But the restroom is dirty, the faucet in the restroom needs replacement , it’s so dirty that you don’t want to touch it.

The rolls contain too much of sugar, too much.
It’s ok for rice to have sugar BUT not THAT much.

As for the ramen – it’s tasty, but it’s not classics Japanese. The broth is tasty but not the Japanese style, more typical American. With big chunks of ingredients. Was supposed to find almost the whole zucchini in my ramen.
The music was super loud and disturbing.
The water has a scent of ray or smth that shouldn’t be in the water. Needs improvement
In general – it’s ok place to visit once. But will not return.

The food was amazing — the sushi was just wow! I especially recommend the Volcano Roll. The atmosphere is very nice, but the big downside was the service, which felt very unorganized and messy.

I ordered the Hibachi Salmon and it was sooo good! I love salmon rare and it’s hard to find places that actually do takeout cooked that way – I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it tasted. The portion size was generous and the fried rice that came with the salmon was also delicious! I had just finished a long run and was starving so this was the perfect first meal of the day. The miso soup paired nicely with the dish and I was already full after finishing the salmon alone. The only thing I’d add is a few more veggies particularly leafy greens but other than that I absolutely loved it – really nourishing and satisfying!

I recently visited Sushi Sake for lunch and I really liked their variety in lunch special options. I ordered beef noodles and my friend had shrimp noodles; we liked it. I am giving it 4 starts because we arrived to the restaurant and no one was in the front so I ended up asking the security guard where was the person and he asked me to wait until someone showed up; after seated, the server took a while to come and take our order plus we ordered sriracha sauce and were charged $1 for it. Who charges for sriracha?? It is like charging for ketchup ‍♀️

What a great find. We only stayed a few nights in Miami and wanted to eat here every night. Our server Luisa was great. She was the only server for happy hour and even with a full restaurant we felt attended too.

We had the shrimp shumai, nfl roll, spicy conch roll, veggie fried rice, and the combo tempura. We came during happy hour (which was pretty late) and scored some great deals!

The old fashioned we had took a little while but was worth the wait. The food was great. The spicy conch roll had a hot sauce that was different but not bad. The veggie rice was definitely under cooked but it had a great flavor!

They have an amazing outdoor seating area with fire pits. We chose to go inside bc we had our little with us.

Highly suggest!

I really don’t like this new upfront gratuity! The service should be above par for 20% gratuity. Sat out on the patio, waited a few to get served. The miso soup was tasty. The grilled calamari was bland. The veggie fried rice was good.

I’ve visited the Sushi Sake chain before at other locations around Miami, and this was my first time at the Biscayne location. I came to the restaurant on a Wednesday around 4 p.m.; it was pretty much empty. The hostess told me I could pick any table I wanted, inside or outside. The weather was nice that day, and the veranda looked very pretty, so I chose a table outside. Also I had a quick look inside, and the restaurant looked modern, nice, and clean.
My waiter came over pretty fast and was nice. BUT he only brought me the regular menu and didn’t mention anything about the Happy Hour menu, which actually starts at 4 p.m. at Sushi Sake restaurants on weekdays. I had to bring it up myself, and he acted like he had forgotten about it. When I asked for the Happy Hour menu, he told me they didn’t have physical menus available at the moment, which seemed strange. Then he just started listing a few of the dishes from the Happy Hour menu, and of course, he missed a lot. Luckily, I had done a review of another Sushi Sake location a few months earlier and had ordered from their Happy Hour menu. So I pulled up that review on my phone to remind myself what I wanted. I ended up ordering the JB Roll and the Miami Heat Roll again.
My food came out fast – about 10 minutes after I ordered. Everything looked and tasted as expected: nice and delicious! The portions at this restaurant are big and filling. Personally, I’m always fully satisfied after eating two sushi rolls. I absolutely love the JB Roll + Miami Heat Roll combo – they go really well together! As for the regular menu, it offers a lot of variety, which is great. I’ve never had bad food at this sushi chain. For drinks, I always order an iced tea. It’s very tasty here, plus they offer free refills. I also love that they have agave syrup and simple syrup, which I always ask for instead of sugar.
Price-wise, I find this restaurant generally reasonable; just a few items on the regular menu seem a bit overpriced to me. But the Happy Hour menu is an excellent deal! My final bill after ordering two items from the Happy Hour menu plus a drink is around $22, which is fantastic!
I absolutely recommend the Sushi Sake chain if you’re looking for good, tasty sushi and rolls. And the Biscayne location is a great option – it’s in a tourist-friendly area of Miami and not far from the Port of Miami, which makes it a perfect spot if you’re arriving by cruise ship and want to grab some Japanese food!

Honestly really want to love it because other sushi sake’s are usually great but I’ve ordered two meals from here now with bad food, one ginger salad with the ginger dressing gone bad and ramen with the seaweed gone bad as well as strong formaldehyde smelling noodles. Not hygienic. Pictured is their ramen bowl.

ROSA our service was phenomenal from the moment we got in to the moment we left. Great attitude, she knew the menu had great suggestions. They were about to close and I wanted a last glass of wine she went out of her way to ask the manager even if they were closing in the next 5mins. Talk about awesome service! Also her smile is contagious! Check her out! Ask for ROSE the Venezuelan server. 🙂 Thank you Rose!
