Came in on a Monday around 7 PM. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t the best. The staff member who helped me (a woman with short hair and glasses) didn’t come across as very welcoming. I ordered a California Crunch Roll, but it didn’t look fresh or well-prepared, just slapped together. Overall, the lack of communication and attention to quality really stood out. I hope the restaurant can work on their customer service, it definitely needs improvement. When it comes to the food, I can see why they have a no refund sign…must be a frequent issue.
I had to edit the post to add the picture. This is what I got. Looks just how it tasted…unappetizing. I’d definitely choose Kroger sushi over this any day!

This place is amazing, the food is always great and the workers are kind and welcoming! I’ve never had a bad experience coming here!! They always accommodate if something gets messed up. Truely such great service and great food.

I didn’t choose Sushi Q… Sushi Q chose me. The moment I walked through the doors, I swear my life split into two timelines: before Sushi Q (a dark era of bland existence) and after Sushi Q (a radiant age of flavor enlightenment).
The sushi? Absolutely illegal levels of good. Each bite felt like a tiny flavor fireworks show going off in my brain. I’m pretty sure my taste buds stood up, saluted, and started singing the national anthem. The rolls were so fresh I half-expected the fish to file a missing person report.
And don’t even get me started on the presentation. These plates didn’t arrive… they made an entrance. I felt underdressed just looking at my food. At one point I stared at a roll for a solid 30 seconds wondering if I should eat it or frame it and hang it in a museum.
Service? Legendary. The staff moved with the precision of sushi-serving ninjas. friendly, fast, and somehow always appearing exactly when I needed soy sauce like they were summoned by my thoughts.
Final verdict: If aliens landed tomorrow and demanded proof humanity deserved to exist, I would drive them straight to Sushi Q and order the chef’s special. Five stars isn’t enough I’m giving it five galaxies, three constellations, and a standing ovation from my entire future bloodline.

Great food! Sushi and Korean! A lot of options. Salad had a homemade ginger dressing. Big sushi rolls.
My sister did the red snapper, smoked salmon & the bulgogi (beef) roll. The smoke salmon had just a slight smoke taste, that was nice and soft.
The bulgogi was excellent!
I had did the popular favorite item, popcorn lobster roll. Good! And the other popular one, the Derby roll. Careful eating that one cause there a lot of bread crumbs on tops I just slowly ate through them and it was better. So good. We will be heading back again. Especially for some soup.

I ate in here a few weeks ago. Since it was right around the holidays, I decided to treat myself after shopping at Southland mall. I had been craving sushi for a while so I stopped at this place.
While I do think that the Black Pine (sushi place) just down the road a bit is slightly better, this place certainly isn’t bad.
The service at Sushi Q is exceptional. They are very prompt, friendly and helpful. I ordered iced tea and every time my glass near empty, the waitress raced over to refill it. And though I am relatively familiar with sushi menu items, she highlighted and described everything that I told her I wanted.
I ended up ordering the daisy rolls. It came with a salad, which had excellent ginger dressing. It tasted like it had a hint of soy sauce and sesame oil in it as well.
The rolls that I ordered were decent. I requested that I the tuna was raw, which I do believe it was. However, I was hoping that the tuna was a whole piece and not chopped up and shoved into the roll. But that may be what a traditional daisy roll is.
I assume that this place does a heck of a carryout business. In comparison to Black Pine, Sushi Q seems to have a smaller capacity. Like most sushi places, they prepare the sushi in plain sight.
Overall, while the rolls that I ordered didn’t particularly exceed expectation, the place is still very good and would recommend. Prior to this visit, I’ve ordered rolls and other items that were great. The place is also very clean and reasonably priced. The service though is exceptionally good.

The bathroom is a 1 person at a time- only downside. But – because I am a woman it was spacious and it had feminine products in it for needs. So that was really nice to see, I never see that. That made up for it!

Absolutely delicious food in a nice setting, although it could be a little bit cleaner.
The presentation of the food is terrific and the tastes were absolutely delicious. I would certainly come here again.

We used to frequent this place twice a week now we are done. The quality of the food and subpar. The service is awful. The cleanliness is non existent. Before the previous owner passed, they got a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. They get ZERO now.
