I dropped off my tax docs at the CPA today, and had to stop and get a bite somewhere. Sashimi sounded good, so decided to stop at Sushi Pure since it was close by.
Nice interior, and was waited on quickly.
My waitress brought water, and took my order for green tea. It came quickly, a full mug, and a lovely little cast iron teapot with a second serving. Good tea, too!
I ordered the nine piece Hamachi sashimi (on a diet… no carbs, lol)!
I was brought a six piece… and let the waitress know that. Told her the six piece would be fine for now.
Lovely presentation, and the hamachi was beautiful. Fresh too, no fishy odor and the color was good. It was delicious.
I would eat here again!

We love the sushi and other items on the menu. This was for my wife’s birthday and we got a variety of items to go, and enjoyed them at home. We got sashimi, Nigri, and a couple of rolls. Creative ingredients paired on the rolls, the sushi and sashimi were fresh tasting and great textures. We ha e eaten in their dining room as well and love the vibe. Our favorite Sushi place in Eugene.

Ordered 2 fried rolls and both came out completely mangled and destroyed. It tasted good, but looked like a total mess! And for $24?! I’ve seen better looking sushi at 7/11.

Yummy yummy sushi. Other food was good too but clearly the sushi was the brightest star. Cocktails were super tasty as well and the different varieties of sake are ample! Waitress was super sweet and very attentive. Do wish we weren’t seated next to one of the wait staff areas as the place was very open with seat options. Overall very good for celebrating or date nights. One of the classiest inside atmospheres of any sushi places in the Eugene/Springfield area. Would recommend, lots of seating options. Sushi bar, bar bar, downstairs and upstairs.

We got seated downstairs, which had a really cool vibe. The black rice mixed with white that made the rice look purple was different and tasty. This place has creamier sauces compared to most sushi spots we’ve eaten at. The nigiri was delicious, as were all the other items that were ordered. Very sweet staff.

Salmon nigiri was delicious it melted in my mouth. I also ordered Otoro nigiri and was not top shelf, did not melt in my mouth. Tasted fishy that’s why this place did NOT get a 5 Star! Thinking it was old, definitely not fresh! My son and friends ordered other sushi rolls which I didn’t try.
I will definitely come back again to give them a chance to redeem themselves.

Pure not only the best restaurant in Eugene but literally the best sushi I’ve ever had. The staff is fantastic, the fish is outstanding, the atmosphere is wonderful. My partner and I get the omakase boat which is perfect for two people. I can’t recommend them enough.
We went there tonight and happened to sit next to the owner. He introduced himself to us and was so polite and welcoming. We had a wonderful night and we are so very thankful.
