Came Friday dinner, around 7pm, busy, ~80% full, took ~40mins for the food to start trickle in. The deep fried gyoza were not hot when came out. Surprisingly were only warm. Tried bento box 2 items: sashimi and teriyaki beef. I enjoyed the salad more than expected. Love the house sauce. Teriyaki beef and sashimi were decent. My husband ordered a roll, can’t remember the name now, it’s decent as well.

Came here for dinner with my friend after we decided to try a new place instead of our go-tos, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is very clean and cute inside, the staff were super nice, and the food was delicious. We got the spicy edamame and it was so so delicious, spicy, saucy, salty, with pieces of fried jalapeño and onion that were a perfect touch. Both our rolls were delicious and filling. I’ll definitely be back to try more items!

We recently visited Sushi Paradise in downtown Sacramento for dinner before a performance at the SAFE Credit Union venue, and it could not have been a better experience. Not only was it super convenient, but everything from the food to the service was genuinely fantastic.
I ordered the Atomic Bomb Roll, a cup of udon soup, and we shared the spicy edamame appetizer. My wife had the teriyaki chicken bento box. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and prepared with care. The udon soup was rich and perfectly spiced, the spicy edamame hit just the right level of heat, and the tempura vegetables in the bento were crisp and delicious. My roll was excellent, and the teriyaki chicken was a standout.
One of the biggest highlights for me was the timing of the meal. They absolutely nailed it. The soup arrived first, followed a few minutes later by the edamame, and then the mains appeared right on cue. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and well-orchestrated.
Service was friendly, attentive, but never overbearing, which I really appreciate. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance—casual yet slightly upscale. We were dressed up for the show and felt right at home, but you could easily walk in wearing shorts and a t-shirt and feel just as comfortable.
From a pricing standpoint, I felt the value was excellent, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. And it’s worth noting: the restaurant was very clean—clearly a place that takes pride in its presentation and environment.
Overall, a truly fantastic dining experience. I would highly recommend Sushi Paradise to anyone visiting the area or heading to an event nearby.

I had dinner here recently and it was so good I went back for dinner the next night. The sushi is great. The fish is fresh and well prepared, with a great presentation. The spicy tuna is the best I’ve ever had, and the hand rolls are beautiful. To top it all off, they had the football game on the TV at the sushi bar. I’d give a sixth star for that if I could.

I visited here for the first time tonight and had the BEST experience! I had just gotten off a long and busy shift at work and wanted to treat myself to dinner. I looked up some sushi restaurants nearby and spotted this one and wanted to give it a try! Everyone from the hosts, servers, and chefs were so kind and attentive. I ordered the Salmon Truffle Sashimi and Sun Roll and it was genuinely the most quality fish I’ve had and hands down the best sushi rolls I’ve eaten! Thank you Sushi Paradise and staff for an amazing meal and wonderful end to my night. I will most definitely be back and I recommend anybody to add this place to their list of Go-To restaurants!

Highly disappointed :/ Placed a phone order and asked if they had Lion King roll. I was told they did, so I ordered a Lion King roll and a CA Roll. I went to pick up the order and was initially shocked at the price. $33 for 2 rolls. I asked for the itemized receipt and saw the Lion King roll was $22. My immediate thought was what the… but.. I had already ordered it and didn’t want to make a fuss. I decided to be cool. I was good until I got home and opened my order. I received a CA Roll and something I have never saw/have no clue about. I was immediately sadden because it was RAW and I don’t eat raw fish. $22 wasted.
I called a friend to help me figure out what they gave me and he didn’t know, but advised I bake it to cook it. I started doing so and realized there wasn’t even all salmon on top of the roll like a Lion King roll is supposed to have FML.
I’ve attached pictures . Sad, dang day.. especially as the restaurant had already closed, so I couldn’t call or go back to get the correct food item. Ugh
Edit: I’ve added a picture of where I broiled the sushi to try and make it edible for my palate.
Edit 2: After broiling, the sushi was edible for me! The fish that wasn’t salmon (not sure what kind of fish it was), was overcooked after broiling so I didn’t eat that. However, I realized the sushi roll had shrimp inside of it. Does anyone know what kind of roll this was? Thanks

Lovely place with outdoor seating trunks the shade thanks to the lovely trees. Ordered 2 rolls and the spicy edamame. About $20/roll. My sake was $22, but was supposed to be the best, so there are others which can be $7.

Wowza, absolutely wonderful lunch. The double tuna sushi roll just melted in your mouth. The Paradise and K Street Sushi rolls were perfectly made and deliciouso. Can’t beat having Japanese sushi chefs making sushi rolls with the freshest ingredients. Even my green tea was great. This restaurant just capped off a wonderful weekend in downtown Sacramento. I’ll be back sooner rather than later

Food was delicious, service was fantastic and it was a cute place! Not a lot of options for all raw combination rolls, most of them contained something cooked. My spicy tuna hand roll was absolutely delicious! I also got the side salad which came out surprisingly large!
