This has quickly become my favorite sushi spot in this part of LA for delivery. We’ve been ordering the 10-piece nigiri which is an amazing assortment of delicious fish. We.also get the Nicky Roll and spicy scallop roll which are good but I would probably swap them out for more nigiri next time. The only disappointment was the bluefin toro which didn’t really taste like a cut of toro and was very bland.

Came all the way over to get sum sushi because their Google search shows they close at 11pm. Doors are closed and it’s 10:18pm Saturday evening. I called while I was standing outside and whoever answered was super rude, said they “decided” to close early but they were still inside. They need to change their hours listed on Google and on their door !!!

Wowowow! Very underrated and amazing sushi spot. Really good quality. Fantastic sushi. Ikura and uni were so fresh. Their toro was sooo tasty. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice, clean, tasty sushi spot with good quality and price. Crispy rice options were fantastic (tuna, albacore, salmon or yellowtail).

Terrible customer service. They should not be a merchant. Placed an order and wanted to cancel it due to a big delay in the timing. This was a pickup order placed at 6:33pm and three small items placed. I was around the corner and was planning to wait a little over 30 minutes since it as going to be ready at 7:07pm. Then it says it wont be ready until 7:46pm. At almost 7pm I call them to ask to cancel and they won’t. I attempt to cancel in app and it says I will not get a refund. 46 minutes until ready so I go to the store and I ask for a refund. They say no again. I call DoorDash support and they issue a refund and cancel the order. Im pissed. They could have easily done that on their end. Liars and horrible customer service. They were not even busy when I went to the store.

This place is amazing! I’ve been there multiple times by myself and with family since the ownership change. The quality of the food is still amazing, and they serve the best miso soup I’ve ever tasted. The special rolls are really unique and always seem to have an amazing taste. The staff is incredibly kind and creates a good environment for the customers.

Really great sushi restaurant… we eat sushi a lot and this is high quality, yet reasonably priced. Very cosy inside, service was excellent & particular favourites were the Seared Salmon, Spicy Tuna (no.2) and the Lauren Roll. Highly recommend!

My friends and I were Sushi Time loyalists who were blindsided when we arrived at 5:30 on a Friday only to see Sushi Time would be no more.
We decided to give Nagahasu a try a couple of months later. The quality of the fish is just as good as Sushi Time. Most of the wait staff is from Sushi Time as well; always friendly and efficient.
Nagahasu has phenomenal sushi and I hope they thrive just as Sushi Time did. They deserve it.
