Great place for some sushi in Lougheed!
Personally, I ordered the Calamari Crush and split a Salmon Sashimi with a friend. So I’m only reviewing those two.
Calamari Crush was very tasty. The squid was really good with the sushi sauce and was presented very nicely. Each bite exploded in my mouth, full of flavor.
The salmon sashimi was also really good, tasted fresh and melts in your mouth. Portion size was decent as well.
Prices were reasonable for the size, comparable to Sushi Garden.
This is my first time at this location, I normally eat at the Richmond location, but this location is nicer in my opinion because it’s easier to find parking. The service was also good. We got our table for 6 pretty quickly without reservation and we also got our food really fast!
The lighting in this restaurant is nice and bright with a roomy modern interior.
I’ll definitely be coming back here for some sushi next time I’m in the area.

We stopped at Sushi Mura for some lunch today. The food was tasty and extremely fresh.
Each table conveniently has its own iPad making it easy to pick and order your food items. The staff were very kind and professional. All items ordered arrived to our table quite quickly. My fave is the sweet potato rolls. They were nicely made and delicious.

I’m most familiar with Sushi California, so that’s the standard by which I review sushi against.
The rolls here are priced a bit higher, but the roll sizes are also 30%-50% larger. The food presentation is quite nice and ambience is solid: there’s good space between neighbouring tables.
Parking is free. You have to park around back of the apartment building.
Very solid restaurant. Impressed

– Free parking available at the back of the building
– Reservation highly recommended- it gets packed very soon. Be on time for your reservation- they will hold it for only 15 minutes.

the Korean chirashi don for $38 is actually really worth it! I really like the spicy sashimi sauce at sushi mura — I think they make it better than other sushi restaurants. ordering on iPads is very convenient.

I haven’t tasted sushi this good since coming back from Japan. If you enjoy fresh sushi and hot tea, this place is highly recommended. Originally upon seeing the prices I was a bit doubtful, but the quality and quantity of the food honestly made the prices seem cheap. Servers are extremely friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and bright. The presentation was amazing, really made it into a dish you couldn’t wait to get into. As a big back myself I mowed down 2 of their special rolls and that itself was enough to fill me. Highly recommended if you are a big back or just looking for a nice meal to experience.

Had the wild salmon sashimi the first time I went, group of 3 for lunch, a bit pricey, but amazing quality and good portion size.
Edit: went a second time, for lunch, tried a handful of different rolls with a friend, we both enjoyed them all. Still more expensive than most other places, but it’s a fancier looking spot, touchscreen tablets to make your orders and what not. Plus quick service! Plus it’s very close to my work, so I cant complain.

The food quality at this Japanese sushi restaurant is excellent. The sashimi is very fresh, and the fried items are also outstanding. We ordered some Canadian-style sushi rolls, which were great in both presentation and taste.
