By far, the best Japanese restaurant we’ve ever dined in at. The staff, rookie or veteran, are always friendly and courteous. Ingredients used for food are always fresh and well-seasoned. The temperature of our cooked food is always piping hot, especially awesome during the cold seasons, and their avocado sushi is our daughter’s first order request as soon as we’re shown our table. Location, food, and service are what will keep us coming back for more.

amazing decoration inside – the cherry blossoms are so pretty!! interior is spacious and clean, the servers were so nice and friendly! and the food is quick and amazing too – would highly recommend!!

I love this place. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the Manager, Rhyan. We felt welcome and well taken cared of. Our Grandma loved the cherry blossom trees inside the restaurant. The food came quickly and it was delicious. The service was awesome. If you are looking for a Japanese restaurant with a friendly ambiance, great food and a Manager who makes sure you have a great experience, Sushi Mori.

Excellent service, excellent restaurant, excellent food. If I could, I would have given more stars. We felt very welcomed, fast and great service, the portions were huge and they’re not that expensive. We got a full meal for $35 ea. which we didn’t even got to finish because it was big. We should have bought only the bento because that alone was great!

We had such a great experience at Sushi Mori Port Moody! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the décor was beautiful — it really made the dining experience enjoyable. Everything was super clean and well-kept, which made us feel comfortable right away.
A special shout-out to Amy, who served our table. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive — one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. She made us feel so welcome and added a personal touch to the meal.

Was going to Sushi Mori for many years even after we moved 30 minutes drive from there, but last few times it was not good.
Sticky tables , rolls were not accurately made and brake easily, fish was not freshest as before.
No music was playing after 8pm, dishes banging noise and atmosphere was kinda “eat and leave as we are closing”
Not sure if we will be back to dine in.
I’ll try ordering few more times and see if quality stays the same
