Terrible experience. My “freshly made” roll came out and immediately looked wrong. It looked like it had tuna inside rather than salmon and some of the avocado was so brown and slimy (not even sure how it made it onto my plate). I asked the staff to clarify if it was tuna or salmon. They seemed very irritated by me asking and said it was salmon. I asked why it was that color and she said “don’t you know what salmon is?” And began laughing at me. She kept saying “you don’t know what salmon is.” She eventually just took the plate away.

So this specific spot used to be my absolute favorite in 2022; I’ve tried to stay loyal since moving away- but the last time I visited left a bad taste in my mouth (figuratively). I brought two friends in a double date and when I got my sesame balls- there was an earwig on the plate. I didn’t make a fuss, pointed it out to the “chef,” and he asked me if I still wanted them…..
Now it’s been a couple of months, and I decided to uber some food for myself at work. When I started eating, everything was fine, until I looked closer at the Salmon rolls…. There was hair ROLLED INTO my salmon rolls.
Not going to be returning my service to this joint… it’s obviously lost its shine…

I don’t know how they can do that. But they make google deleted my one star review! It is unbelievable. The sushi there is not fresh at all, even feels dangerous to eat.

My husband and I love this place! We have been going here since we were pretty much kids; since before we were even married! About 7 or 8 years now. The owner is the kindest and we’ve become such regulars that she always knows what we want! I couldn’t recommend this place more! We’ve had sushi other places and nothing is as good to us as Sushi Mioga! I have seen some bad reviews here about how they don’t have sushi on the conveyor belts and around lower times of the day they do not because they don’t want food sitting out long. They will give you a menu and a pen so you can circle and number what you like. I also see people confused on what to do or lack of communication. To us it’s always been common sense to just go sit down without even being greeted because that’s what restaurants like this are! As for employees we are also not super chatty so we love this! They have all always been response and came to greet us once sat. We are also patient! I don’t go out to a sit down restaurant and expect urgent care… we have never had an issue! I feel sad seeing such bad reviews from others. I have never felt this place was not clean and the art never bothered me! I hope when you read this you give this place a shot! I am so shocked to see the negative feedback on this place. Never once have I had a bad experience.

Hands down best belt sushi I’ve been to! There service is great and you can’t beat their happy hour! The variety of sushi they have is also fantastic! It’s like going to a fancy sushi place with all the extravagant decorated sushi rolls with explosions of flavor, but for a fraction of the price! The staff is friendly and welcoming and they always welcome us to order a fresh roll if they happen to be out of our favorites. Anytime my wife and I are craving some good sushi, this is the place we go to. Their Phoenix roll, red devil roll, and lion king roll are our top favorites. We always ask for a fresh lion king roll because they seat the top a bit and it is SO amazing! Just a great combination of mouth watering flavors in a single bite. Highly recommend it!

Overall, a great sushi place. The atmosphere is nice and there is a lot of variety when it comes to sushi. The customer service is great all the staff are friendly. The food is good for it’s price and the taste is better than your average sushi place. I highly recommend this place.

My first ever rotating conveyor belt sushi bar experience. Everything was fresh and delicious! Highly recommend the tsunami roll and freshly made salmon skin salad. Great place to stop in for a quick sushi fix. I even enjoyed a nice glass of chardonnay with my dinner.

Sushi has no flavor, the rice does not stick it falls out from underneath the fish. Service was not great it’s like you were bothering them. Will not recommend or go back.

Food is not fresh. I grabbed two plates of salmon nigiri and thought they looked extremely thin and lacking in color. If I had tasted the first plate I never would have grabbed a second. My immediate thought was this tastes like it sat out and had a weird taste.. hoping I don’t get sick. I paid and left immediately. Extremely dissatisfied.
