Reviews
My visit to Sushi Masashi was an absolutely incredible experience. I was warmly welcomed by a staff member right at the entrance of the building and personally guided into the restaurant, which immediately made me feel valued as a guest.
The entire team, including the chef, was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the evening. Every dish we enjoyed was outstanding in both quality and taste, and the selection of sake complemented the meal perfectly.
I will definitely return on my next visit and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who truly appreciates excellent food.
Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful and memorable evening!
The restaurant was almost impossible to find from street level – I would strongly recommend looking at the Google listing for exactly where you go – you get into an unmarked elevator and go to the top floor. It was hot inside – I wore a sweater and was uncomfortably hot the whole time. Totally my fault.
The experience of dining here completely blew my very high expectations out of the water. The staff were extremely friendly and respectful and communicative – the presentation of the food, and the quality of the food is impossible to describe without experiencing it.
We were served a first course of puffer fish – this was given to us nonchalantly, although it is a world famous item that can kill you if not prepared correctly – I had no concerns eating it.
I could spew about this place for days – overall I will go back to Tokyo just down here again. It was that good.
The chef even asked if we were still hungry towards the end of the meal Dash unfortunately I was full, but he made everybody that was still hungry. I hand roll with any remaining fish.
Seriously, just out of control, quality and presentation.
To get there, you’ll need to take an elevator to the 7th floor, but once I was seated, I completely forgot I was that high up. The pacing of the meal was perfect — probably the best-timed omakase course I’ve ever had. I left genuinely impressed.
If I lived in Japan, I’d visit multiple times a year without question.
The place is a bit hard to find, just for info! On the 7th.floor of the building.
Very close to metro station.
The restaurant is divided in two sections, private dining area and counter dining.
When arrive, we are welcome by the
Waiter and placed to our spot.
Very minimalist decor like we expected in a Japanese shushi place.
The focus is on the food.
Beautifully prepared with a high quality of fish and shellfish, nicely presented the Omakase dinner felt like a dance of textures, colours, taste and craftsmanship.
One of the best Omakase that we have experienced in Tokyo.
Thanks to Master Masashi and his staff for a wonderful dinner.
I hope that the Michelin guide will recognise you with a second star ⭐️ soon.
The sake pairing was excellent, with each bottle perfectly complementing the dishes.
Beautifully balanced flavors, perfectly seasoned rice, and an atmosphere that feels both elegant and intimate.
The service was impeccable — attentive, kind, and professional without being intrusive.
One of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had in Japan. Highly recommended.
Small intimate ambiance, the two other couples that we met in there said that they keep returning to this restaurant because they love it so much also. Definitely worth the visit.
