I visited here with a friend while visiting Richmond. We were very impressed with the variety and quality of the food. The server was excellent and freely offered opinions and advice. He was also very attentive and available while not hovering. Well done!

They have all of your favorites and so much more. For $30.98 you get all of the sushi you care to eat (including sushimi), your first alcoholic beverage (or unlimited soda) kitchen items, appetizers and desert. They have some of the most interesting rolls we’ve found at an AYCE sushi places. On top of the delicious food the service was amazing! Our cups never went empty and they never let the empty plates back up. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you… the inside transports you to a modern, bright and clean foreign place. While waiting to be seated you’ll get to watch the large carpe swimming in the huge inside pools. Go check it out! You won’t regret it.

This is our favorite all you can eat sushi spot! The food is great, the rolls are great, and the restaurant is really nicely decorated. Service can be a little slow but that’s understandable.

My food was pretty good; I ordered the lunch box teriyaki salmon. The gyoza tastes kinda like chicken sausage wrapped up in a dumpling dough.. my fried rice was a bit mushier than I like but tasted good. The Shrimp Tempura Roll was really good!! The all you can eat sushi probably would have been better because we also ordered a hibachi shrimp lunch box …but the shrimp were over cooked. Otherwise it was a pretty nice quiet lunch.

You wouldn’t know it from the outside, but the moment you walk in you’re transported to a whimsical oasis.

As you walk through the doors you’re greeted by a water wall with swimming colorful (toy) fish. To even get to the hostess stand you must walk across a bridge where below is a pond with live Koi. The seating also lends to an array of choices, between elevated tables with straw mat walls, to tables in different side rooms, to a karaoke room, and of course the sushi bar

If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is a perfect spot to do so. We chose here to celebrate a birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special.

The menu focuses on their all-you-can-eat (AYCE) option, but there is an option to go a la carte as well. But to be honest with the selection of appetizers, sushi rolls, teriyaki, tempura, soups, and so much more … you can’t go wrong with the AYCE. Plus the AYCE even includes one alcoholic or refillable non-alcoholic (soda or tea) beverages.

TBH, we all tried a little bit of everything … and it was all delicious! Some of the favorites amongst the table was the Tuna Tataki, Salmon Mango, Seafood Soup, Gyoza, Tempura, and the ice cream. Which the latter, we were afraid for an AYCE the quality of the ice cream wouldn’t be great, but the vanilla had a creamy rich vanilla flavor and the green tea was so good that someone requested a second serving.

Service was also wonderful. Timmy was great and food came quickly after ordering.

Bathroom:
Changing Table: Yes

Notes: The amount of love put into designing the restaurant didn’t quite make it into the bathroom. But it’s functional … has 4 stalls with its classic metal walls.
Stall trash bins are the type with no lid and cleaning supplies/equipment are left out.
Separate men and women restrooms.

This visit to sushi masa was just as devastating and shocking as the PSU loss to UCLA. If you’re looking for good sushi and Japanese cuisine don’t look to get it here. The food is what you imagine getting at a lower tier gas station with a single microwave as their only cooking appliance. Let’s get started the rice had a burned taste with hint of we’re trying to make rice with yesterday’s white rice leftovers. An appetizer of Teriyaki chicken tasted like it was frozen 3D chicken that had sauce drizzled on it. Then being brave a tuna roll was ordered it did not appear to be fresh. The pictures I added to this review may be deceptive there is nothing good here or worth your hard earned money. Kroger or Publix’s supermarket chain Sushi will serve you and your overall gut health better than Sushi Masa!

The salmon sashimi felt fresh and something our table ate a ton of along with the scallop sashimi. Alex, our server, was extraordinarily attentive; he truly elevated the dining experience and made our time there memorable and special. We will definitely be back!
