Sushi Luma is hands down the best sushi not only in Petaluma but in the whole area! I go there every week because the sashimi is always incredibly fresh and everything is prepared with so much care. The quality is unmatched, the presentation is beautiful, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. Definitely a true gem in the region. Highly recommended!

I have been to many restaurants and never written a review, but the quality of this restaurant, was so great, I decided to write one. Me and my family were looking for a place to eat, that we haven’t before. Due do this restaurants high ratings and reviews, we decided to go here. The sushi rolls were thick, and packed with flavor. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Cherry Blossom Roll. The miso soup, and chicken teriyaki was amazing! The presentation was beautiful. This is my new favorite spot for Sushi! We ordered: spicy garlic edamame, Bento Box, Cherry Blossom roll, King Salmon roll, Big brother roll, and the Fire rainbow roll. The pictures below are of the Big brother roll, Cherry blossom roll, and the Bento box. Highly recommend, and am so glad we went here, and will be returning!!!

Very lovey little hole in the wall sushi place. I got some nigiri, sashimi, a hand roll, and a specialty roll. All of them were fresh, tasted great, a generous size, and a decent price! Our waitress was very attentive and polite. The food came out quickly and the restaurant was clean. Will definitely be back.

Really delicious sushi. Freshly made with high quality tuna. We had the shrimp dumplings and 2 rolls – Red mango and the Hot Spicy Roll and we loved it! Even got to see semi final in the Europe Soccer Championship (we are from Europe so we enjoyed that)

We’ve been here a few times and the service was always great and the food tasted great. But lately the rolls have gone down hill. The consistency isn’t there and the taste is different from the last time we’ve gone. I ordered a tuna roll with avocado and cucumber and you can tell in the pictures the avocado is non existent! If I’m paying for avocado I want avocado. Same goes for the cream cheese, unfortunately the whole order was lacking in quality and good taste. The spicy tuna roll had an off taste that I couldn’t finish.

Very good rolls! I feel like some sushi places have pretty much identical menus, but the Sushi Luma rolls that we ordered were creative and delicious. Also excellent value. Would absolutely order from them again.
