Been a regular at this place for many years. It has completely changed. 2018 – 2021: The staff were very friendly, accommodating & if any problems occurred, they would correct it & give out freebies, the best employees they had. 2023 onwards; the quality of the food has dropped dramatically, the staff are not friendly & they are not prepared when it comes to stock control, resulting in long wait times for what is supposed to be fast food. Additionally, they give smaller portions compared to a few years ago, & to other Kokoro branches. It’s a shame to see this place get worse by the day, while other locations seem to be thriving.

I got the katsu curry with pumpkin in a small size and the portion was generous. It was my first time and I will be going back to taste more. The flavour of the katsu curry was really nice and the pumpkin slices were soft from inside and tasted fresh. 4 star as the customer service could have been better. And yes it’s a pity they charge 10p for a takeaway bag.

This used to be a great lunch option. Nice food, great taste and very generous portions – the staff used to have to force the lid on and secure it with cling film as there was so much food.
Over the last couple of years, the prices have crept up and the portion sizes decreased. The pots are now 3/4 full of stodgy rice with a very small amount of meat. The chicken is still tasty but there’s so little now. It’s a shame as there’s a lot of competition nearby and people with vote with their feet.
Sad to say I won’t be going back after yesterday’s portion. I picked up the first piece of chicken and found the rice layer immediately beneath. The rest was rice.

it is a great place to get a fast and delicious meal. The staff are very nice and helpful, in particular Kanchan and Muhammad.

Another very good branch of Kokoro. Good food and very nice staff. Reasonable prices for good size portions. We were 2 children and an adult and we sat outside and had a tasty meal. Well worth visiting and right next door to Ben and Jerry’s for dessert
