Sushi Ki Ichi is one of those places that truly stays with you, even after a long time away. We moved pretty far, but I still think about this food all the time and honestly miss it so much. Everything was always so fresh and perfectly prepared, the kind of sushi that melts in your mouth and makes you pause for a second because it is just that good. Each bite felt thoughtful, balanced, and full of care, and you could really taste the quality in every piece. It was never just a meal, it was an experience that felt comforting and special every single time. I miss this place deeply and cannot wait to go back home one day and sit down for sushi that tastes exactly the way I remember it, unforgettable and made from the heart.

This is by far the best sushi in the Tigard-Tualatin area. The fish is very high quality and excellent texture, and I love the uniqueness of their rolls. This was our first time going, so I’m excited to try other menu items. We ordered the Scorpion roll, Yellowtail roll, bluefin tuna nigiri, fatty tuna nigiri (not pictured), salmon nigiri (not pictured), and agedashi tofu (not pictured). The salmon was soooo buttery and delicious, and the Yellowtail roll was so sweet and a little floral from the shiso. Absolute must have!

Placed an order to pick up tonight, wanted to get some soup with my chicken. The woman on the phone was very kind and efficient, gave me an accurate time when it would be ready. When I got there, was greeted immediately, and the soup and takoyaki were ready in 10 mins. Tasted exactly what I needed, and worth it. Definitely will come back and try other things, thank you!

What a hidden gem! A friend took me here recently and I would have never known it was there. The staff is super friendly. I’ve been told the chef sources everything he can from Japan. I almost feel like I am back in Japan when I eat here. The sushi is delicious and I’d say the best I’ve had in the Portland/Meteo area! I highly recommend the eel. I was also super impressed with the curry! If you’re looking for some great Japanese cuisine look no further.

Enjoyed the rolls and hand wrap rolls. Green tea was meh. It was really a bright green..more of the color tea you would find at the Chinese restaurants. Like the bite size sushi rolls and the tempura. The deep fried oysters was not our favorite. Too mushy and raw for us. Dessert was yummy.

Loved this place! The sushi was super fresh and the shrimp nigiri was standout!! I always get udon when I go out for sushi so I was really happy they had a set with both!

This sushi spot is a real hidden gem! The quality of the sushi is amazing, with fresh, pieces that are simply so good. One of the highlights is that you can order by the piece, allowing you to try a variety of flavors without overcommitting. The handrolls are also great.
While the calamari appetizer is on the smaller side, it’s absolutely to die for it’s crispy, tender, and flavorful. Overall, this place offers exceptional sushi that’s well worth a visit.

The food is good here although I wish they had more options for vegans/ vegetarians. All of their soup broths besides the miso soup contains fish so we werent able to order an udon soup which we normally do at sushi restaurants. Their agedashi tofu sauce also had fish sauce in it we were told, but we were able to get a replacement sauce, ponzu, which is really good. We also wanted to try the agedashi mochi soup but that also has fish sauce in it unfortunately. Our oceans are suffering from overfishing and plastic pollution from fishing nets and lines. Its way past time that more vegan options are implemented everywhere for everyone’s sake.

Amazing food at great prices! Very fresh with new varieties of nigiri to try. The monkfish liver and sea bream were very good. The pudding was housemade and delicious as well. My new go-to spot. Need to make a reservation though as it can get busy.
