This is our go to sushi place. It’s super conveniently located for us so we tend to get take out from here at least every other month. (They also have some really good deals on their take out, normally on their website) The fish is always fresh and good quality, and the service is always excellent.
Cost is super reasonable considering how expensive sushi can typically be. Their hibachi is also very good. Definitely will keep coming back!

Nice little spot to eat at. We went during lunch on a Monday and we were the only ones for a little but dining in. We ordered krab Rangoon, it was ok. The sushi and hibachi made up for it! Very delicious and offered lunch specials which we took advantage of. The service was excellent, they refilled our drinks quickly and checked if we were satisfied with each food order. I would definitely go again!

Used to live in Jacksonville a few years ago and this was my favorite sushi restaurant. I just recently came back for a quick visit, and everything is still excellent! Highly recommend it to anyone. Not only is the food fantastic, the staff is very friendly.

Sushi House has upheld the same high quality and great prices fothe last decade. I enjoyed the shrimp tempura lunch which includes an assortment of vegetable tempura as well. The salad is always fresh and the rice is the best I have ever eaten. My friend had the chicken teriyaki and ate every morsel of rice. Whether you are dining in or carrying your order to go you should expect an awesome experience from the host greeting you at entrance to the chef confirming your special request at table side. The people are very very nice and genuine. I cannot complain about the people. However, they are very slow. Two awesome ladies were working the floors. And there was two sushi chefs. However, the food is not worth going for. The food looks pretty but the taste is just basic. Nothing to run too. The salmon was old (you can smell and taste the old mess iykyk) the crab meat was imitation crab. And I hate imitation crab for it doesn’t taste like crab at all. The fried roll tasted like it has been fried in everything else. So it was a little oily and tasted like everything has been in the grease. The water tasted like tap water. And I never drink Jax water because it just tasted bad. This is not a place to go for. Especially for authentic sushi. The platting is basic and is presentable but I won’t be returning. Tried something new but it didn’t work out.

Dinner before our movie (Deadpool & Wolverine) at Cinemark Tinseltown. My wife and I ordered the Chicken Hibachi and Teriyaki Chicken Bento. Generous portions of hibachi chicken and my wife loved that it comes with noodles. The bento was fully packed! See pics. Friendly service! We’ve noticed that they get a lot of to-go orders. Food was yummo!

The Baymeadow sushi roll is very good. I was going to take pictures but it was gone before I remembered. PLEASE , check them out very nice people, especially Lainey. I recommend this restaurant very clean. Stopped in for lunch today and was very pleased, when I first went in I was the only customer wich made me second guess my decision, as I waited for my food the place started to fill up very quickly, when I got my food I could see why, it was delicious and very reasonably priced, I will most definitely be going back!

I hadn’t been to this place in years, yet they recognized me immediately. The sushi here is amazing, and the wasabi is fresh no matter what time you come. Since I started going here again, I’ve been back several times.
The plates don’t have flowers, and the sushi doesn’t come on long old-looking leaves like some “fancy sushi” places, but the quality of the food here is just superb. The sushi rolls are generously filled, and the flavors are well-balanced. The presentation is straightforward and unpretentious, focusing on the freshness and taste of the ingredients.
The rolls are well-prepared. The atmosphere may be simple, but the quality of the sushi makes it a place worth returning to time and again.

Excellent service by our waiter Sam. Very knowledgeable and courteous. He was always available and great with recommendations. The food was excellent. My first time with deep fried sushi and the Godzilla roll was out of this world. Atmosphere can use some changing including the stained drop ceiling and lighting. Everything else was great though.
