You can’t sit at the sushi bar, which is unusual and the place was freezing. Service was slow, but the sushi was delicious. The portions are huge! I had the Golden Dragon and Crunchy Monkey rolls. Both were very good, but if I had to pick one, I’d pick the Crunchy Monkey.

The food is good. The staff can rush and mess things up, but caught it last time before I was out of the parking lot. Overall they’ve been a reliable source of good, reasonably priced sushi.

I enjoyed the food however I had an old school person with me that didn’t enjoy as much as I did… She just wanted more of a sushi rice taste but other than that everything was perfect. The atmosphere and the sushi chefs were funny and enjoyable to watch.

Our server was amazing and made the evening fun. He recommended things to try that were not even on the menu and his recommendations were spot on! The food was great and we didn’t have to make a reservation or wait for a table.

On Sunday my wife and I decided to have dinner at Sushi Hook. We were served by a young guy who like all the previous times we visited was not friendly and there was no proper customer service. There was no greeting, or basic phrases as for visitors. The waiter silently placed the apetizer on the edge of the table and left. The sushi was delicious, but our disappointment was when the bill was brought to us. The waiter did not warn us and included the automatic gratuity in the bill on his own. Usually, we tip our waiters, but not in this case. I don’t understand why I have to pay this waiter!!!! For service that was zero? The waiter realized that he had not done anything to be tipped and added the tip himself. I wonder if the owner of this establishment knows that waiters do this without warning guests? When we went to pay for our order, my wife asked when they started including the automatic gratuity on the check? The girl made the payment and called the waiter who was serving us. He didn’t know what to answer, so he just walked away. The girl offered to return us this difference, but we did not want to wait. I would like to ask the manager or the owner of this establishment to explain to the staff that you need to work honestly, and not to turn on automatic remuneration, because you did not provide any service and elementary do not say hello to customers. This situation was very disappointing for us as we were regular customers of this establishment.

Sushi is pretty good here I love their rolls and they are pretty huge and not small at all. You can’t go wrong with any of the rolls you get but the specialty rolls are the best. Sushi is always fresh and I love the inferno sauce and the orange spicy mayo on the side with my sushi. I always leave happy every time I come here.

Waited 30 min for a table. The restaurant was crammed full of tables and chairs. I could hear the stranger next to me chewing thier food. The waiter forgot to put our order in. My hot tea was barely warm. Phone ringing off the hook. Delivery orders going out faster then the people in the restaurant getting thier food. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE.

As appetizing as the sushi may look in the photo, it was HORRIBLE!! sushi was made and cut into super thick slices and tasted very disgusting. Some even tasted like nothing. When asked for a refund we were told we couldn’t get one and had to pay. Don’t waist your time coming!

Excellent portion sizes, ingredient quality, and taste… at below-average prices. $10-12 per roll, vs around $15 per roll at most other places! Tasty appetizers, too, with the soft shell crab being my favorite.
