The sushi were great. I enjoyed it a lot. Now I realize I may have too high expectations because I’m not sure what would have needed to happen for 5 stars. I really enjoyed it but it’s also similar to sushi I’ve had all over the world. The chocolate desert was just OK but I’m not really taking that into account as it’s not something to order in a sushi place.

This was our first time here, we wanted to make reservations at a sushi place we haven’t eaten at before. However, we made the mistake of coming in on Valentine’s Day, which won’t happen again. We had reservations for 7:30pm but had to wait for a table so we didn’t get sat until closer to 8pm. I’m going to assume it was because they were so busy, but still, people make reservations for a reason. Come to find out later, they have 2 more larger areas with tables, so I’m finding it hard to believe they didn’t have room for 2 people. It took our waiter a bit to get to us, again, probably because of how busy they were. We ordered some edamame, and I’m pretty sure they brought it to the table next to us. We then asked our waiter 2 more times where our edimame was, and 40 minutes later, we finally got it. Extremely long time to wait for that, especially when both tables on either side of us got theirs first even though we ordered first. The sushi was really good, but the service was horrible. Be prepared to wait a while to get everything you order. We got part of our order right after they brought the edimame, but then we had to wait another 45 minutes for the remaining part of our order. They brought it out on one of those huge wooden sushi boats, which to me was overkill, especially since our table was really small. The rolls and negiri would have fit just fine on a large white square plate, but maybe they didn’t have any available. Needless to say, the sushi boat didn’t fit very well on our small table. Parking was a nightmare, but then again, it was the highlands area, so be prepared for that. Overall, it was an okay visit. If we come back here, it won’t be on a holiday or at 7:30pm. There are other amazing sushi places, so I recommend looking at all of them before deciding to come here.

We had a great experience eating sushi for dinner. I had the poke tuna app, several rolls. The staff was great and friendly, one item came with tuna instead of salmon, but not that big of a deal. The only reason I did not do 5 stars was some freshness concerns. The avocados were 1/3 brown, and some items just weren’t as fresh as you want. Maybe it was just the day and time we came in.

Food is amazing and affordable!! You can walk away feeling full and not broke. The first time we came here we were served a free roll which was very tasty The second time we came the service was a bit slow and they forgot to put in our appetizer so we ate it after the main course. Overall great for date night or birthday celebration.

My husband and I have been coming here for the past 5/6 years. This place always has the best hospitality, the best service, and the best food. Our waitress Kally is so personable and remembered us after helping us one time! The ramen is one of my favorite dishes and my husband loves the sushi! 10/10 recommend this place. Come on the weekends especially and you will NOT be disappointed!

This place has amazing classics, but also creative dishes like the surf & turf roll. I absolutely loved it. My friend who doesn’t like sushi was able to order a steak with mac & cheese, but my raw fish loving friend was able to get great sashimi. Pro tip: If you have a group of 6 or a bit larger you can get a traditional room where you sit on a lower table in pillows. We are doing that next time. I always ask for miso soup, and I loved it here, my friend ordered delicious calamari. Everything was delish!
