I’ve been a regular here for many years, prior to it even becoming Sushi Go. I can say that the quality remains stellar under the care of its chef. The food is always wonderful. This is not the place for those expecting Americanized sushi and hibachi. This is where to go in Greenville for traditional Japanese cuisine at its finest. I will continue to go, and continue to be happy with every meal.

Bit of a sushi snob here and I’m happy to say I’ve found my spot. Sushi Go on Main St is well worth a visit. Chef Max Godo prepared us some high quality sashimi along with a wonderful selection of apps. Great ambiance as well.

I had high hopes for this place but it was just so-so. I have shrimp nagiri and it was a bit warm. My wife had the Philly roll and it was more rice than sushi. The salmon in it was tiny bits of tough pieces and half of it was inedible. I tried what was supposed to be grilled slices of steak with onions and instead I got a plate of slices that had the consistency of a SteakUm sandwich and onions in a sauce. The house salads were good and so was the house wine. The one saving grace is the prices are very reasonable for the location. Probably won’t visit again. Quality was just not there.

Great sushi and ramen. The staff was extremely helpful in explaining the menu and all of their most popular items. Their spicy ramen was personally my favorite. I will definitely be bringing some of my sushi and ramen loving friends here sometime.

Ordered the shoyu ramen and, unfortunately, it was super bland, with no taste. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I haven’t tried anything else, ‘sides the tako yaki (pretty frigging delicious), and the shrimp tempura appetizer (meh…it’s shrimp tempura); but besides that, the atmosphere was pretty mellow and the service phenomenal. Definitely would come back if I’m near the area again to try something different. Thank you, SushiGo, until next time!!

My husband and I were so excited to try SUSHI GO. We read the chef’s bio and thought the sashimi and sushi would be top quality. Unfortunately, it was pretty disappointing. I ordered the tuna sashimi, tuna tataki, and Red on White as our appetizers.

SO good. Reasonable prices for a quality sushi place. Seriously crave-able. If we were local, we’d eat here again!

My dad and I just tried this restaurant last Saturday, and it was AWESOME! We had the beef tataki appetizer and plum wine sake to drink. He ordered two sushi rolls (the Hot Tonight and the All-Star Spicy Lobster) and I got the Unajyu (eel over rice). We shared the entrées, and we had the tempura cheesecake dessert. Everything was so delicious and I can’t wait to eat here again!
