Simply one of the best in Tucson and in my top 3 for Arizona. The chef prepares sushi perfectly and the fact that it is family-owned and operated since its inception decades ago says a lot. The outside seating area is a bonus compared to most restaurants that only offer indoor dining.

First time trying this sushi spot and I was pretty disappointed. The crab puffs were good, had some red spicy sauce instead of the normal sweet red. Ordered a few nigiri as well and they were so small, maybe a table spoon of rice and a goldfish size piece of fish. The rice itself wasn’t sticky enough and lacked flavor. Also got the veggie roll and it fell apart due to the rice quality.

The new location is great, very stylish and good north side location. The food and service are excellent! Two suggestions for management: 1. Reduce the lighting by 25-50% in the evenings, it’ll set the mood and let us appreciate the masks and globe lanterns. 2. Add more sound absorption to the walls to create less echo and a slightly cozier feeling.

Decent sushi. I wouldn’t go nuts over this place. The service seemed chaotic. I think they are new and still trying to figure it out. I ordered takeout and was told it would be 20mins, but it took about an hour. I sat waiting for the 40mins. After 30 they asked if I’d like a drink. For takeout, we ordered 5 sushi rolls and a poke bowl and only got two pickled ginger and wasabi. This place is probably better dine in. I wouldn’t recommend for takeout.

I had loved the ribeye bulgogi at the Broadway location. It’s not bad here but it is not good. Just tastes like soy sauce and not actual bulgogi.. weird cuts of meat too.
