Visited this restaurant with my son and we had a nice lunch. Probably ordered too much as we had take the main meal home to-go. The food was fresh, delicious and very filling. We were pretty stuffed off of just eating the appetizers. The service was amazing, it was one of the best customer service experience in a long while. Taylor was very nice, friendly and made sure we didn’t even need anything. She was proactive. Definitely recommend. We asked to sit outside to enjoy the breeze.

I’m giving 3-stars because the pizza did taste pretty good. But everything else is sub par.
Firstly, the delivery driver picked up the food at 6:11 and sometime after that, the food was left at the doorstep without a knock or ring on the doorbell. I was waiting patiently in the living room and decided to wait outside when I discovered the food on the doorstep at 6:55. The food was promised to be delivered by 6:40.
Secondly, I ordered a 10-piece Split wings and it was the driest chicken I have ever eaten. The chicken wings were so dry I couldn’t distinguish the difference between the bones and the meat when biting into it. I’ve had softer jerky meat than this chicken wing. I did not request extra crispy but got something like that. “Split” meaning two different orders of chicken. It came as if they were all the same. If I received these wings in this condition while dining in the restaurant, I would’ve demanded my money back but it was delivery. I guess they figured I couldn’t complain or return the over cooked chicken since it was delivery order.
This was the first experience with this restaurant and I have to say that it’s most likely the last.

As a native New Yorker living in Johns Creek/Suwanee for the past 19 years, I still crave a good slice of classic NY-style pizza. While it’s hard to beat the original, Mellow Mushroom in Johns Creek has become one of my favorite go-to spots for pizza in the neighborhood.
It may not be exactly like New York pizza, but it’s consistently delicious—and the service is always great. Ida, one of the waitresses, truly stands out. She’s incredibly kind, attentive, and makes every customer feel welcome. Because of her and the quality food, I’ll definitely be back again this Friday!
If you’re in the Johns Creek area, I highly recommend stopping by. And if you’re closer to Cumming, that Mellow Mushroom location also has great service.

The food is always good, but the most notable thing was the service. This was my first time walking in to the location to pick up food for a staff meeting and everyone was so warm, welcoming and helpful. Even the staff that didn’t help / talk to me acknowledged my presence with kindness. Taylor, the team member that helped me was so thoughtful. She went out of her way to make sure i had everything I needed, walked me to the car, and was just super sweet in general. As someone who works in customer service, I never expect or demand 110% from people who help me (everyone is human and stuff happens, right?) but Taylor definitely gave me that, which is very much appreciated!

I loved it! The flavor of the pizzas is excellent and the ingredients are fresh. The decoration and atmosphere of the place are great too — definitely a spot with its own personality. The service is 10/10 and everything is super clean.

I’ve been to several Mellow Mushroom locations near and around metro Atlanta area, and the John’s Creek locations delivers consistent quality in both food and customer service. On a recent visit, I decided to try out their pretzel bites and they were delicious. I keep coming back because their dough/crust is really good.

Ordered takeout here last night – wings and a simple, normal cheese pizza with pineapple (I know, I know). Spent $20 on dry bread with mozzarella – there was NO sauce. It was easily the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Just imagine eating lukewarm, dry, mozzarella out of a bag and that it exactly what it tasted like. We were watching a live show, otherwise I would have called and complained. I wish I could get a refund. My husband took one bite, and we threw the entire thing away. Extremely disappointing, because normally Mellow Mushroom is one of our favorites to order from.

Top notch service here! I think this may be my favorite Mellow Mushroom location now. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Shout out to the excellent server Taylor! Great food and even better people. I’d highly recommend if you love pizza.

Ida took amazingly great care of us. She was super focused and attentive. My Italian hoagie could not have been fresher or more delicious. The pepperoni pizza we shared was tasty from the first bit to last. Thank you. Everything was mm mm good!
