Best sushi! The fish is fresh. Alex is an amazing chef. He is more than a chef. He’s a sushi artist. They can accommodate gluten-free needs. Family owned. I’ve been going here for years, and they never fail me. The workers take a personal interests with their patrons. If you become a regular, the staff will get to know what you like and will remember you. Hands down the best! Prices are reasonable. I got three rolls for under $30.

This place was great, we loved our server Nick. He was so thoughtful. The food is good for the price. My favorite is the Japanese pizza! 5 starts for sure, I could eat a dozen. The rolls were good and the fish was fresh and it all a decent price point.
I will say a few things that weren’t my favorite. We had one simple food accommodation for a person in party who can’t do fish and didn’t want a combo plate. Chicken in a baked roll instead of baked salmon. And they said no. We’ve done this at other sushi restaurants with no problem.
Also the cucumber salad was made with American cucumbers, it was really bad, not crunchy and very slimy. They should fix that. Also the spicy garlic edamame was terrible. Just a big scoop of sambal on top of beans and zero flavor. These two are appetizers and actually made me quite nervous for the rest of the food.

Excellent service from Jenny! I advised her of my gluten allergy. She recommended gluten free options from the menu. Additionally, she offered accommodation for alternative items. Service was perfect. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Because Jenny was so knowledgeable about my allergies, I was confident and highly satisfied with our dining experience.

Every dish we’ve ordered has consistently exceeded our expectations. I’ve worked in Sushi before ! The staff was super helpful and attentive. In fact, all of the servers made sure to tend to my needs! The fish is great! And they have great portions! And happy hour! All the people crowding Sumos, waiting hours for a table, need to get their butts over here!

I wanted to try this place since it’s close to my house! So glad I did! Sushi was fresh and chicken teriyaki was also super flavorful! This was jam packed with food I couldn’t finish it! I will definitely be back!

Came here for the first time on Saturday night. They do offer a happy hour menu which is decent. Food has good flavor & was filling, seemed fresh which is very important when eating sushi. Staff wasn’t anything special, I think one person got a drink refill maybe that night. If you’re in the area and want sushi I’d recommend this place though for good tasting food with a large variety of options to pick from.

First time eating here, as we were looking for a new sushi place we had not already tried in Ventura. We ordered angry calamari, salmon roll, Mexican roll, Diablo, and Tonkotsu ramen. The portions were generous, delicious and service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

The staff is great and the sushi chefs are very nice. Food is superb. Everything is so tasty; i love the giant roll.
UPDATE: the roles are tiny! 3/5/22 update. Price is the same and rolls are extremely small. Tasty but disappointed in how small the rolls are. I feel robbed.
Update 10/2022: We ordered some rolls to go, and the hawaiian roll had brown avocado. Yuck. So disappointing for the price. Not returning after this.
