If you like to eat sushi and drink it with Japanese beer or sake, then you are not here . Seriously speaking, I liked the quality of the food. Fast service and price. Everything was delicious and fresh. But they really don’t have beer.

Service was fantastic! Love the concept of the place just wish the quality was a little better. We got two rolls and a teriyaki bowl. The rice was very dry, definitely not enough water. The rolls fell apart when we tried to pick it up. And then the artificial crab texture was really unappetizing, definitely expected better quality krab, or just real crab… And the teriyaki chicken was good because of the sauce but the chicken was just there. Would have loved some seasoning or a little char fork grilling or something.

I stopped by Sushi Freak and got the make-your-own sushi burrito. It was SO good! As a vegan, I really appreciated being able to customize everything to fit my preferences. They had tons of fresh options to choose from, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion size.
The walk-in service was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly. The food was so good that I actually came back again before leaving town!
Highly recommend, especially if you like having the freedom to build your own sushi roll or burrito just the way you like it.

This place is very comforting. The environment is peaceful and the food is even better. I finally tried kimchi here and I did not regret it. It has a little spice to it and is better than I expected it to be. I ordered the Dr. eel good sushi burrito and the dipping house sauce makes it even better.

The sushi was excellent. It’s made fresh, right in front of you. The cashier wasn’t the friendliest but the food was good and we will come back. Wasabi and ginger on request only so be sure to ask for it! We really liked the sushi and the restaurant was clean.

Sushi Freak isn’t bad for fast food sushi. Think Subway or Chipotle where you can watch the rolls being made as you order them and check out. It’s quick and decent.
I had a Rooster Roll (soy paper, teriyaki chicken, spring mix, avocado, daikon sprouts, wasabi mayo, and tempura crunch) and a Waikiki Roll (seaweed, coconut shrimp, mango, cream cheese, and topped with toasted shredded coconut and unagi sauce). I didn’t much care for the Rooster Roll, and it fell apart the moment I tried to eat a piece. The Waikiki Roll was enjoyable, and I hadn’t had toasted shredded coconut on a roll before. I enjoyed the mix of mango and cream cheese. I’d get it again.
The service wasn’t great. The cashier said they would bring the rolls to our table, but then just called out our orders when they were ready and we went up to get it. Not sure why they’re asking for tips (with four suggested amounts upon checkout) if you order at the counter and pick up your food, but such is the state of food service nowadays.

LGBTQ FRIENDLY :p! took a girl here on a first date and she swore I dropped a fat bag on dinner spoiler: I did not. This place is affordable but tastes like Im spoiling someone. I knew she was gonna love it I basically set myself up to a W. When Im craving something quick but want a “healthier” option I always end up here. sushi is just so good for its decent for the price. Yesterday I tried the sushi burrito for the first time and it was crazy good and it even had a better price than the the normal sushi. I love this place.

Fast food version of sushi. Solid but not great. No complaints just not great. From value standpoint, similar costs to full service restaurants in my experience. Looking for quick, easy and decent sushi or poke bowls, then absolutely. No complaints, just not high-end and that is fine- nor do they pretend they are. If I were to rate on comparison to say a Moe’s, very similar experience, just different type of food, I would rate a 4.5.
