The yellowtail jalapeño and toro sashimi are absolute must-tries; fresh, flavorful, and perfect in every way. They also had something I’ve never heard of before called a mango roll, which is essentially mango slices on top of rolls, and this was awesome (interesting blend of flavors). We also had the Yuzu-flavored soju, which had a great citrus/lemony kick. The plum wine was a little on the sweet side for me, but still tasty overall.
Definitely give this spot a try, it deserves way more recognition!
Its tucked away in a strip mall, with a few other restaurant choices, massage/nail spa, a laundromat, & ample parking when we arrived @ 6pm.
Walked in saw that it was clean and roomy. We were greeted and sat right away at the sushi bar per our request. They were quick to bring us menus and take our drink order. After checking out the a happy hour specials and looking at the menu we ordered some beers & HH cut & hand rolls.
I got to say the food was really good. The wife commented more than a couple of times how fresh the sushi was, how soft and buttery it just melted in her mouth .
Prices were good too, even off-happy hour. Large selection of rolls and a good variety of fish. Large party trays are available. You can call ahead and pick up your order as we saw many people do. I will be back for more samplings of various items! Great find.
The food is always delicious and well prepared and presented. On my last visit, I had the Rock Star scallop hand roll. It was THE most delicious roll I have eaten in ages. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Glendale/Burbank area
