Sushi Club in Brea is a hidden gem — 5 stars without hesitation!

The cozy, intimate setting makes it feel special and relaxing, like a perfect escape. Service was outstanding: warm, efficient, and genuinely caring — big shoutout to Jennifer for making our dine-in experience even better.

Food was fresh, high-quality, and presented beautifully. Highlights:
– Trust Me Sashimi (20 pcs): The star! Served in an elegant 3×3 box, every slice was insanely fresh and flavorful.
– A5 Wagyu Entrée: Melt-in-your-mouth tender with that rich, juicy texture — pure indulgence.
– VIP Salmon & Tuna Sushi, Yuzu Dai Crudo, 911 Roll, Hamachi Jalapeño Roll
– Kushiyaki skewers: Prime Beef, Chicken, Kurobuta Pork, and Bacon Asparagus — all perfectly charred and delicious.

Rounded out with Iced Green Tea. Every bite was spot-on. Highly recommend for sushi lovers — we’ll be back soon!

I came here with my family and it was so nice . We got yuzu.matcha drink with alcohol which was yummy. I also got Sapporo beer which was refreshing. But the winner was the fine Thang roll with chives scallion inside . I also enjoyed the garlic noodles with uni pasta. The dish that was most memorable was the trust me sushi platter with 20 pieces. The platter was not only beautiful but it was so fresh. I also loved the blue crab uni rice bowl!! I also ordered wagyu 5 on a hot sizzling pan which was the softest meat I ever tried !! The staff was so friendly and I would definitely come back to try their other appetizers and sushi . Shisito peppers were also savory and not spicy at all!!! Love this new restaurant and the interior was calming and serene inside!! Also loved their tiramisu and matcha cheesecake

Tried Sushi Club Izakaya in Brea recently and overall had a solid experience. The space is on the smaller side, which makes it feel a bit more intimate, and service was attentive without being over the top. We ordered the Fresh Prince Roll, Chicken Meatball Kushiyaki, A5 Wagyu Steak, Soft Shell Crab, Uni Sushi, and the Trust Me Sashimi (20 pcs). The A5 wagyu was easily the highlight for me — super tender and rich, pretty much melted as soon as you ate it. The soft shell crab was also done really well, nice texture and not greasy. The uni sushi topped with caviar stood out too, definitely one of the more memorable bites of the night. The sashimi tasted fresh across the board, and portions felt fair for the quality. It’s not the cheapest dinner, but you can tell they’re focused on sourcing good fish. I’d come back, especially when I’m in the mood for higher quality cuts and a slightly nicer sit-down meal in the area.

Checked out this new sushi spot in Brea for dinner with my family. Loved the cozy interior and the sushi was really fresh. I luckily made it in time for happy hour and I recommend the yuzu matcha refresher! My favorites were the “trust me” sashimi, A5 wagyu rib eye, and the fine thang roll (blue fin tuna with caviar)! I can’t wait to come back to try their other menu items!

The sushi was good and the environment was very nice to eat dinner in. They made great use of the inside space to make it feel big. All of the food was beautifully presented and Happy Hour has a wide array of options.

One of the best sushi and Izakaya I’ve been to. So glad I found this in my area. Good ambiance and great service! Gotta try the A5 wagyu and the uni pasta. For me, I go there for the Izakaya and a nice Sake pairing. My wife loves the sushi there, the seafood and very fresh, and they get legit uni. Definitely recommend everyone to go try it!

Sushi was pretty good but we drove way out of the way to come here for the happy hour specials. Was told the menu was being reworked and they had no happy hour right now. Felt they could have maybe worked us a deal. Would consider coming back if they bring back the happy hour

I’ve been going to this place on and off since it opened. The food is absolutely fantastic. I had a wonderful lunch there yesterday (homosaki + 4pc chef’s choice nigiri lunch special) and it was fantastic. Asia greeted me when I arrived and provided excellent service! This is probably my favorite sushi place in the area I just wish it was closer to home!

Drove 20 minutes and arrived at 9:25 pm, but was told the kitchen was already closed even though your hours show you’re open until 10 pm. I understand things happen, but it would be helpful if service hours were updated to reflect actual kitchen closing times.
