Sushi Cafe is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm ambiance and impeccable service. The sushi selection is top-notch, with each roll beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or a newbie, there’s something for everyone on their diverse menu. The freshness of the ingredients truly shines through in every bite. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations or cater to dietary restrictions. It’s evident that the chefs take great pride in their work, as each dish is presented with care and precision. Sushi Cafe has quickly become my go-to spot for a delicious and memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Came here for the first time with a friend, and had a delicious crunchy roll. It wasn’t as crunchy as I personally like, but it was tasty all the same! Would like to revisit as I love sushi.

Also had the stuffed mushrooms. Very tasty!

Update: I came by to do takeout… place literally just opened, and already I was being rushed looking through the menu. My food had sat on the counter for a good amount of time before the server finished packing my order.

The food is still delicious, but the portion has gone noticeably smaller. The Lion King Roll for $18.95 is not justified. I’m so disappointed because I loved Sushi Cafe. I just don’t think I’d keep on patronizing it after my experience today.

9 months ago: Been coming here for the last 2 years… still one of my favorite sushi places…
Food is always fresh and delicious and you get so much value for your money… i love their bento boxes and freeport roll.

2 years ago: Came here for lunch with hubby… place was packed but didn’t feel crowded… foods were fresh, tasty and appropriately portioned… prices were very reasonable… our male server was very nice and courteous… will come back.

Easy to miss, will quickly become a favorite once you know about it. Not the best sushi in town, but the best in town is unaffordable, and this is pretty darn good. It’s an adorable little spot, far back enough from the main avenues that surround it to be relatively peaceful, and the staff make it a really nice place to just sit and spend some time.

Foods are amazing at affordable price, has been in business for more than 20 yrs, My daily go to sushi bar in midtown. Great location, lots of offices and medical facilities nearby. Evening might have a hard time finding parking, there’s extra parking at the back of the building.

If you read my other review from the other day then this will make more sense.

When you enter, one thing you will notice that is starkly different from Mikuni is the last of fish flavor in the air. Sushi Cafe has a lot of wood throughout and it drowns out the sushi flavor around you.

The Sashimi here was great. It was thick and or good size and flavor. It was not chewy or tough. It was, however, a bit warmer in temperature than I would prefer. I like a nice chilled fish.

We tried the stuffed mushrooms and while the ingredient list looked appealing it lacked flavor.

Service was good as was the selection of fish types. I would come again though a meal for two was around 100 dollars.

I enjoyed my experience at sushi cafe, the food and staff were wonderful. I ordered a rainbow and free port roll. Somehow there was a miscommunication between the waitress and I , and I received the something I didn’t order. Thankfully they were very nice about it and quickly took back the food that I didn’t want and brought me back what I ordered. The waitress is really nice about it and the overall customer service was great! I highly recommend this place for family gatherings, birthdays, and more.

Thank you Sushi Cafe.

All the rolls have been tasty and made well. I’ve come here many times through the years and I keep coming back. Potstickers are kids approved and miso soup always hits the spot. The menu is full of variety with fun local names. Stuff is friendly and service is good. Support your small businesses.

Big dining room seats lots of people. This just means that when it’s super busy, wait times are longer. They also have this weird thing about putting all the dishes on the table at the same time. If you order many items, you will wait for everything to be made before they bring it out.
