Three of us had the 12 course meal. Every course was excellent and very fresh and tasty. The fatty tuna, mackerel, raw shrimp, scallops and waygu beef were memorable. Our sushi chef was very engaging and knowledgeable.

My wife and I will most definitely return!

I could not have asked for more for my first omakase experience!

Ironically, the 12 course meal filled me up even after fasting all day. Every single dish was delicious! It is very difficult to decide on a favorite.

I ordered an extra dish called the Big Mac, which contained uni, fatty tuna, scallop, and wagyu, and I highly recommend it. Quite literally, it’s worth its weight.

Both chefs were fantastic and very nice. The maitre d’ staff were also very accommodating. Everything was very intimate and felt private. We felt like VIPs.

Cannot recommend this place enough!

⭐ Food: 5/5
Outstanding food quality and presentation — the chefs are excellent! Definitely worth the $125 for 17 courses.

Drinks: 3/5
Nothing special and quite overpriced. The prices listed on the menu don’t include liquor tax, so a $20 drink actually comes out closer to $25.

Also, shame on you for charging $16 for a small bottle of sparkling water — that’s excessive, even by fine dining standards.

Overall, a great dining experience for the food and service, but the drink pricing could use some reconsideration.

Being honest, I loved it. It wasnt as intimate as I was expecting but the food was so good, the chefs that prepared it was very knowledgeable about how to prepare raw food. I did feel that the saki was over priced for one glass but other than that I enjoyed my experience.

We had the BEST experience at Sushi by Bou in Nashville thanks to Johnny, our omakase chef! He was incredibly personable and made the whole evening so much fun. You can immediately tell he’s an expert – he knew everything about the fish, from where it was sourced to the best way to enjoy each piece. Every bite was perfectly prepared, and he took the time to explain each one in a way that made us appreciate it even more. On top of that, he got to know us personally and kept us laughing with his great sense of humor. If you go, definitely ask for Johnny – he truly made the experience unforgettable!

The second you walk in, you feel welcomed. Before the omakase started, we sat in the waiting area, which was extremely nice. It has a bar and great spacious seating. The staff is super accommodating, and chef Daniel was fantastic. But, the Uni from Hokkaido stole the show!

I had such a wonderful experience here! I mentioned that I don’t like spicy food, and they customized every piece of sushi for me without spice. The attention to detail and the excellent service made me so happy. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back! -Maria

Holy crap! This experience is so worth it! The fish is so fresh and flavorful. Our chefs – Johnny, Edwin, and Troy were amazing! Landon and Katie were so attentive to us during the whole experience. I’ve never been a fish fan but this place truly changed me. The flavor in each piece you eat is just indescribable. I am leaving a changed person from the food I just ate. Splurge for this and treat yourself because it is worth it.

This attempt at a high end sushi experience chain crashes, loudly. The three sushi chefs are knowledgeable and engaging. The fish is all very fresh, everything except the Spotted Prawn is tasty, yet not distinguished; the sushi rice was dry. But, from the very loud music, with vulgarity (f-words), limited alcohol selection, nearly non-existent wine list, a 20 minute wait beyond the reservation, no validated valet parking, the behind the curtain sushi bar fails.

My husband and I were excited to try another omakase spot, but overall, this experience was just okay.

Parking: Options include street parking, a nearby garage, or valet ($15 for 2 hours). We chose valet, but it took 15 minutes to retrieve our car at the end, which was a bit frustrating.

Timing: Our reservation started 20 minutes late, which set things off on the wrong foot.

Experience: One thing we did appreciate was how the chefs prepped courses for everyone at the same time. This staggered approach helped them serve all 12 courses in under 60 minutes, which kept things moving smoothly.

Service: Johnny and Edwin handled our side and were both very nice and attentive, which we appreciated.

Food: Unfortunately, the courses themselves didn’t stand out. The quality just didn’t compare to what we’ve had at places like Kase by Noko. For the price and concept, we expected a bit more in terms of flavor and presentation.
