A great place for Japanese food and drinks in the middle of Little Tokyo. The staff is friendly and easy to talk with. There is a variety of Japanese food and seasonal changing menu that is amazing.

It was alright, standard quality for the price and serving size. Got an assortment of nigiri, 2pc each order, which came pre-seasoned with house soysauce and wasabi. Carpaccio hamachi was smaller than expected and had a heavy flavor that didn’t really complement the mild profile of the fish. Not blown away by any dish. Texture and firmness of fish was good, very fatty. For the price I would go somewhere else that has a calmer atmosphere. Great service though.

Terrific place to have some beers, great carpaccio and very good kaarage. But the best part, by far, is the people. Thanks guys!

We had an incredible time at Bar Asobu Sho was so welcoming. Best fried soft shell crab I’ve ever had. The snapper and yellow tail carpaccio was mind blowing. Sho’s favorite dish was the popcorn shrimp it was so worth it such light batter.

If google reviews had 10 stars I’d give it a 10. Each dish had a unique flavor profile. Don’t be swayed by the limited menu, it’s small but powerful. They even have a chef’s creation option. We got lucky and walked right in on a Saturday evening – they’ve just opened two weeks ago, and we’re sure this place is gonna do well. Good luck to Ken and team!

Really cool new spot in Little Tokyo. Came here on a Monday night and the place was busy. Food is solid and not overpriced. I didn’t drink but our group enjoyed some drinks. Definitely on the list for go-to night spots in Little Tokyo/DTLA.

Everything was amazing! The food, drinks, and service were all on point. I had the chicken karaage, soft shell crab, and the pasta, and each dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
