Sushi Ajito has honestly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Just amazing food and great service! I always make sure to stop in when I’m around the LA area. Their salmon sushi is a signature dish! Be warned: if you are trying it out for the first time, it definitely won’t be the last time you eat there! 🙂

Super sweet owners and incredibly fresh sashimi. I got the 19 piece platter and was very happy with my meal.
This place is a gem. When I went in, I noticed that the owners greeted everyone extremely warmly and had a bunch of regulars coming back. The auntie working the front of the house made me feel like I’m family eating at her house ^____^

We went for a quick dinner bite and were not disappointed!
The place is small, but cozy! We were greeted by a server and got sat down immediately.
For drinks we got Asahi. Then my bf went for omakase nigiri’s chef choice, and I got
1000 bucks roll and classic albacore roll with avocado, which was 50% off, since they have deals on Mondays.
My bf’s daughter ate Washington roll and Salmon Ceviche. The cheaper roll was also 50% off.
We all enjoyed our meals and will def come back!
10 out of 10.

This is the only restaurant I regularly come back in LA. It might look like a mediocre sushi restaurant from outside but their food is one of the best in the US. I remember I went to a 100 year old sushi restaurant in Tokyo and was so amazed by their tuna sushi. The chef here brings me back to that experience. His sushis are surprisingly fresh and tender, his rolls are full of fresh ingredients. Their service is impeccable. My family always leave this place feeling so fulfilled and happy.

We came here on New Year’s eve after a day walking around Hollywood area, all tired and hungry. The foods are just okay but the server was very nice. Spicy ramen bowl was like instant noodle with broth and jalapeños. The tempura udon bowl tastes better, however, there’s nothing significant about it. Prices are a little high compared to other sushi restaurants. I may come back if there’s no other option.

I’ve had a lot of sushi in NY, London, Dubai and of course in Japan and believe me when I say they serve very high quality and fresh fish. The bright orange, whites, dark reds and yellow colors, sheen and flavor was really full and rich – and Chef Ajito’s cuts helped to emphasize the freshness of the fish. Worth it if you’re looking for better than the normal, dull fish served in most standard sushi chains.
