I’ve been to 5+ omakase in SF, @sushi ties first place with one of them, easily beats the rest. And at $150pp it’s a steal. Every piece of sushi and every dish tastes amazing. Fish is without question top quality. I’ve never had such tender blue fin tuna, melts in your mouth just like chu-toro. I also love the seasoning. Very surprised this place isn’t more popular. Was able to get a Saturday reservation ~ 1 month in advance. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Oahu.

A sushi Omakase that consistently delivers beyond expectations — always reliable and impressive. It’s BYOB, so bring your favorite drink and enjoy it with some great sushi.

Having tried numerous omakase spots, this one stood out as truly exceptional. The fish was supremely fresh. The chef’s attention to detail was evident; they didn’t just add flavors, but skillfully enhanced the fish, ensuring you could still appreciate its original, pristine taste. Our lunch experience offered surprisingly generous portions of A+ quality food, exceeding our expectations for the price

This spot is definitely among the top three omakase experiences in Hawaii, including Hihimanu, Onodera. Sushi Sho is overated, IMO. I’ve been to about 70% of the high-end sushi restaurants across the islands and plan to try them all eventually, and this place holds its own. The pricing is fair for the high quality you get. Each piece of fish is incredibly refined, fresh, and generously portioned.
It’s BYOB, so be sure to bring a bottle of wine or sake if you’d like a drink with your meal.
I was a bit skeptical at first since there are only a handful of reviews, despite the restaurant having been around for three years. But every review I saw was positive. I think the limited buzz might be due to the restaurant’s quirky name “@sushi,” which plays on the chef/owner’s name, Atsushi. It’s meant to be unique, though it comes off a little cheesy. Don’t let the name or the unassuming location fool you — the food is excellent.
This is a true omakase experience, so keep in mind that you can’t order extras if you’re still hungry, what’s served is what you get.

This Omakase was amazing! Very small and intimate space. The chef was super friendly and nice to chat with during the dinner. Doesn’t feel too fancy, so it’s approachable if you’ve never been to one. This is a very good price for what you get, especially compared to other Omakase dinners that I’ve been to which are much more expensive. Food was delicious and I even got to try several things that I’ve never had before. Highly recommend this place! Also not very hard to get a reservation like other places.

Definitely one of the best sushi omakase experiences in Hawaii, if not the entire state. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. The chef’s expertise shines through in every dish, with each piece of sushi expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients is unmatched, and the presentation is impeccable. A truly exceptional dining experience – highly recommend!
