What a fantastic place. I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. The fact that wife and husband run this restaurant and the husband & wife were so kind and right on time with our orders was a phenomenal service specially us dining with two kids. Thanks for making us feel at home, food was delicious!

This is a fantastic restaurant and the next time I go to Colorado Springs, I will go back. My friend and I were able to get in just before closing time (8 pm) and the hosts were amazingly gracious and the food was outstanding. This is the real deal, nothing overly fancy, but top notch cooking from Suzanna – I wasn’t hungry so I just had a salad which was not pretentious but they got everything right with it, and my friend had the Portland Hippy Pizza. His mother is a very good French cook and he said the pizza reminded him very much of the quality work she does on the crust and the sauce. The atmosphere is extremely well-designed to add to the comfortable, homey feel. We don’t get many of these treats anymore in America. Definitely worth the visit!

Wow – what an incredible brunch!
Susanna’s Comfort Cafe is only open for brunch on Sundays from 9am – 1pm but it is well worth planning to go there. The chef/owner makes some of the best brunch food in Colorado Springs. I’m a huge fan of her french toast – it is insanely good.
The bisto is cute with murals on the wall, vintage furniture and enthusiastic staff.
I haven’t yet been to Susanna’s for dinner but we will be back to try that.
I love that Colorado Springs has such great, locally owned restaurants like Susanna’s. Highly recommend you stop by and try this local spot.

From the time we walked in until we walked out it was excellent! Husband and I had the tenderloin which was amazing. Not too spicy which was perfect for us. Granddaughter had a shrimp and a pork taco. Everything was fresh and wonderful. O and I’m on keto but I had to have a few bites of the waffle dessert with strawberry whipped cream.
Kiddos get a free gift from under the tree. Never seen that anywhere. We will be back!

Susanna’s Comfort Cuisine Bistro and Bar is a gem! We loved everything—the artichoke dip, fresh salads, gluten-free pizza, and classic spaghetti and meatballs were all delicious. To top it off, the warm apple cake with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and the friendliest owners and service. Highly recommend!

Incredible experience. Me and my girlfriend and our baby son came here looking for something out of the ordinary and wow! Did we find the perfect spot. The owners were so nice and accommodating to us and our 9 month old son. The salad was hand picked to perfection and the ranch was possible the best in the world. And then the spaghetti and meatballs arrived and let me tell you, I have never had such a great all around flavor. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Let me tell you – very kind persons are working here! Susanna Risberg chef, her husband Ben runs the restaurant, and Aspen helps taking orders and serves the food. What a nice team. You can tell that they love doing this and to give you an excellent experience.
The menu offers many interesting dishes – including specials. And the beverage menudos very nice too, offering wines, cocktails, drinks and soft drinks. Basically all you need.
The food tasted absolutely awesome – and our Beef Tenderloin was made to perfection.
An absolute visit when in town.

Great food!! This place is decorated so tastefully too. Our group got one coconut stir fry with Italian sausage, and one with shrimp, the Alfredo, and bolognese. All were incredible. Owners were friendly and totally welcoming, and even suggested locations to visit (as we are visitors to Colorado). I’d totally recommend this place!
