First, we went to the spot on S. Flores, it is so small and every table was full, parking is terrible. We went to the Zarzamora location and it’s bigger, was slightly empty. The server didn’t check up on us, we had to order queso from the lady who brought us drinks. The Queso was brought after my son got his taco. It had Alot of onions at the bottom, big chunks and was watery, super watery in a big bowl. We thought we were getting a small order.

We also order the carne guisada omelette and guevos rancheros with barnacoa plate and my son got 2 egg and cheese tacos. The Tiktok video has carne guisada pouring out of it, but the pictures below show what it really was and let me tell you, EVERYTHING NEEDED SALT. The Cheese, The Barnacoa, The Potatoes (which were soggy), the Eggs, it was like they ran out in the kitchen, it all needed better seasoning! The lady that took our order didn’t come back until our food was ready, then didn’t even check to see if we were ok, another server walked by and checked up on us. We ordered an Orchata, a Limonada and a Sprite (canned). All of that came out to around $53. We gave a $5 tip, but it wasn’t really deserved. I feel like for what we ordered, it shouldn’t have reached that price.

Homemade tortillas and REAL authentic Mexican food!!! That’s all needs to be said. The only downside is the parking. Not much place for parking.

I’ve seen what this owner is about and love him for that! Thank you for being a restaurant for THE PEOPLE. You sir have done a fine job of making everyone feel welcome. Having prices that make taking your whole family out to eat doable even on a budget. Thank you again and bless you.

I go there in between breakfast and lunch. Sometimes I get there before the 99¢ taco special ends. When I don’t make it in time, my go to is the Mexican plate. Sometimes I order their carne guisads tacos (3) with cheese. Whatever you decide to order, don’t forget to tip your wait staff. Go hungry, leave satisfied.

This review is a tough one to gage the stars on, mostly because we never tasted the food. We left church downtown and headed towards the location on Flores, as this one was the closer location. We made Susana’s our choice for lunch based on Both Facebook and Instagram posts. The videos looked very promising and we were really looking forward to forward to the experience.

We have a son who is in a wheelchair and the Flores spot is really small, so offense to them there, but one they don’t have a ramp to get onto the front door, so with the help of a very kind patron we were able to get him in. We were immediately told that the wait would be 30-40min., which we agreed to. We waited about 10 min when we we saw that their other location on Zarzamora was only an in drive, so we decided to make the drive. Our biggest decision for this wasn’t the wait, but the idea that perhaps the other location might have more accessible space for my son’s chair.
Once we arrived, like the other location parking was scarce. This location did have a ramp, but it sits in middle of a parking spot. So, if someone is parked there the access goes away with it.

Once we were able to enter this location, we were sat immediately. This made things better for my son as he was really hungry. A gentleman who sat us was the same individual who took our drink order, which was two waters and one soda. This in itself took about 10 minutes to make it to us. We waited about 10 more minutes before we were greeted by what we can only assume is our waitress now. The good thing is, we were ready to order at this point. My wife and I both ordered two tacos apiece all four being different as we wanted to try a variety. My son ordered Fideo loco. Upon walking over to enter the ticket, she returned to let us know that they were out of the Fideo loco and no longer had chips. So he changed his mind and ordered something else. We’ve been waited another 30 or more minutes watching closely to others orders were also taking very long to come out.
It was then I decided to ask the waitress what was taking so long. She said she would check and let us know immediately, but that never happened so we waited another 15 minutes and when the food never came, we decided to leave.
This was a complete waste of our time we spent about an hour and a half between two locations and never saw any food at all. My recommendation unless you have 2 to 3 hours is find somewhere else to eat.

Very friendly atmosphere. A “Mom & Pop” shop style restaurant. Food is very good, well seasoned and temperature hot as it should be. Prices are very comfortably low. I rated the atmosphere at 3 stars because there is definitely room for improvement as far as the “cosmetics” of the place. Must try for yourselves.

Great little location with affordable food. Will definitely be coming back every time we are in the local area. Great staff and the waitress took great care of my family. If I could give 10/10 I would.

Restaurant is not all they hype themselves up to be. Ordered a simple bean and cheese tacos for my kids, and the beans were like spread lightly on the tortilla with a pinch of cheese. It was literally a flat taco. They took forever. On top of that, they forgot a taco from my order. This is the second time that I get disappointed from this restaurant never again
