The food was out of this world! We ordered the Greek salad and Chicken Kabob plate, together we could have fed an entire family. The serving size was huge. We also got the iced coffee, which was a nice treat to cool off and get a nice view of the beach, surfers and walkers on the Strand. We sat at the table and enjoyed just relaxing. Better than an indoor, 4-star restaurant.

The Baseline: For beach to-go food stand, the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the beach day experience.
Food: I had a BLT Hotdog with fries which held up to the standards of having beach eats. I have been here several times just for the fries and I know they are “out-of-the-bag” fries but they do a good job of preparing them. The BLT Hotdog was pretty good and hit the spot. In the past I have had iced-coffee and soda that are also “hit-the-spot” level items to get from this stand. Beach prices for all items.
Service: No frills and efficient. The staff takes your order at the window then serves you from the window. No complaints.
Ambiance: You are eating beach eats on the beach. There are several tables and chairs with umbrellas. Nice place to eat a hotdog, fries, and a soda.

Googled lunch at the beach and got this…. right on the sand, ocean view, meter convenient parking, restrooms, swings next door, and ocean view seating for days! Surf Food stands can be a bit pricey, but the portions are large enough to share. Took my 2 kids and enjoyed the chicken kabob plate w/hummus, rice, salad and pita bread, a tuna melt sandwich w/fries, and 2 smoothies. I paid $70.00, including tip. I must admit my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Had to take the tuna melt sandwich to go. The food was definitely tasty. I would go back again. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was simply beachie and easy. It’s one of those all in one spots – kid friendly, ocean view, playground, lounging, and beach. Just don’t park past 8 pm, or you will get a ticket.

Can’t Beat Delicious Tacos on the Beach
This is pretty close to LAX, so any time I have longer than a 3 hour layover, I’ll Uber here, and grab a quick meal…
The tacos are tasty and fresh; and if you get lucky and are here for the sunset, it’s absolutely beautiful; just make sure to give yourself enough time to go back through airport security.

This beachside spot provides a fantastic dining experience with a stunning view. The crispy fish tacos and sandwich were delicious, and the create-your-own omelette was fresh and satisfying. With friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Super convenient while spending the day at the beach. Great beach food – cooked to order and priced accordingly for the convenience. The laid-back atmosphere and hot coffee in the mornings is a great way to start your day.
Great service and one of the best views in the South Bay.

I did a quick layover stop for lunch before returning to the airport. I had their fish tacos. They were fresh and delicious! The best part was being able to sit on the beach, eat, and enjoy the beach atmosphere before heading back to the midwest.
