Surf Club is a newly renovated restaurant located inside the Wyndham VB Oceanfront on 57th street at the Oceanfront. With the new open floor plan every seat has an ocean view. In the Spring/Summer enjoy live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings on our Patio overlooking the ocean.

Gave food a 5 because I didnt have any. This was our hotel restaurant, breakfast was too $$, and not we were wanting a buffet so we went elsewhere. Atmosphere was good. Great ocean view. Had Drinks at happy hour.

Overpriced, definitely spendy! Tasty food but a little on the generic side (think fish tacos and crab cakes). Very nice service staff. Best part is sitting outside on the patio right on the beach! There was live music and string lights to set the atmosphere. I was just disappointed at how overpriced the food was. Glad I ate here, but would probably choose somewhere else next time.

Breakfast buffet was pretty terrible… prepackaged food, no variety day-to-day… juice and tea were extra. B’fast servers were more interested in playing with their phones. The inside dining room was comfortable, clean and offered a great view of the ocean. Dinner menu variety was great. Food was cooked perfectly. In my opinion, the patio should be reworked so no one has to dine on the low “bonfire” table. While the music was fantastic, the speakers were unnecessary and placed in close vicinity of the tables, which made it way too loud to be comfortable.

OMG! While staying in Virginia Beach this is my new go-to place for Taco Tuesday and margaritas hands down! First of all, super fast service and the best tasting tacos ever! $5 margaritas definitely doesn’t hurt!! The tacos were on special with happy hour until 7pm! Yum! Plus they were packed full with seasoned meat and cheese. They were much more than expected for discount price! I had 2 margaritas and the 3 huge tacos for just $21 this price AND SEASIDE AT A BAR!

great service, okay food. it’s your standard seaside hotel food, and it tastes less interesting than it sounds on the menu. but the people who work there are very kind and very attentive, and the breakfast buffet is better than anything continental. 3 star food, 5 star service. nice to have if you don’t wanna leave the hotel for food!

The menu does not have much of a selection, they only serve lunch and dinner, I would have paid for breakfast, and if they did serve breakfast, they never let it be known. The service was okay, but they were short staffed, so it took a bit to get drinks or food. I wanted to purchase a bottle of wine ( which I did end up doing ) but the top 2 choices I picked, they didn’t even have, so the server had to walk back two times just to tell me what they did have. Their prices are outrageous for the food.

Just for waiting for more than an hour for your orders. I would have given it a three, but how long does it take to make nachos and tacos. Three orders of nachos, a beef and two chicken. They were okay, but not much in it. Very controlled portions on the shredded chicken and beef, and just not much for $15 each. They were more generous with the nachos that was served to my friend though. Not consistent to ours. The chicken tacos were good but again not much in it for $11 each order. Frozen margarita was just okay; it needs to be a bit sweeter to balance the bitterness. Overall, the live band and the beach view were great, but the service and the food were not. I might go back when they are not as busy…maybe. I did not know what happened to my photos; I just found two and I took a lot.

Ordered the mussels. every single one had sand and they tasted fishy. to top it off, the waiter then gave me the handheld machine and I had to separate every single bill for my 11 person party myself. then my friend at the table had to do the same after we ordered dessert. and then to get a 20% tip added onto our bills for service that was TERRIBLE. Not returning or recommending.
