This was my first visit to Surcheros, and I was genuinely impressed—definitely a step above similar places I’ve tried. My order was ready right when I arrived, which was a nice touch, though there was a little confusion about whether it included a drink (turns out, it did).
The burrito was huge, and I loved the wide range of customization options. The only small downside was that the black beans could’ve been cooked a bit more. On the flip side, the bottled hot sauce above the salsa bar was a great surprise—seriously good stuff!
All in all, the meal was tasty and satisfying. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
Update: my second visit was not so good. Food and taste was marginal. The place just looked and felt dirty. There were several tables that had not been cleaned. There was ice in the green salsa and they no longer have extra hot sauce options sitting on top of salsa bar.

This was my first time here. I went to pick up an order for 7 pm. A couple minutes go by when I’m in there which is completely fine. A girl named Lauren asked for the name and I gave it to her. Then I wait another 10 minutes, and I can see that they haven’t started my meal. I work in the food service industry so I understand when things get backed up. But then I hear the workers talking about the ingredients they are missing to make my food. Again, that’s fine, but I waited another 5 minutes before the worker came back up and asked me what I would like instead of chicken. She had a bit of a rude attitude, but I didn’t want to stress her out further so I told her steak was fine. Then another 10 minutes! Go by and she made my quesadilla as a burrito on accident. I would’ve absolutely eaten a burrito at that point, but instead they threw it away and did not start the quesadilla. Another 5 minutes and I asked if I could just cancel the meal. Then the girl asked if I could wait a little longer and I said sure but then she came up on the phone with her manager and said she refunded me. It was just a bit of a bummer. I could tell she was stressed, but her attitude was rude and made me rather leave then stay and wait or reorder. I’m sure it was an isolated incident, being that I’ve never been here, but it was still a little ridiculous.

Each time I come in, the service is always great. Staff is helpful and very pleasant. Food is very good. I placed an online order and realized a glitch. I am certain that I added beef, but it didn’t show on my receipt. When I walked in, I told the young lady working on 9/21/25 @12:00 to check my order. They were busy, but she was somehow managing to help take care of customers, work the grill, and check my order. All the staff were doing a great job. I love the app overall. The ability to add on, take off, request items to be grilled, etc. Is very helpful. My burrito was very good. The drink choices, salsas, etc are great too.

To begin with we have eaten multiple times, both delivery & inside. This is the first time that I am complaining about their food. Not that their food is bad but the way the food was prepared. The burrito was incredibly sloppy and soggy! I asked for it grilled and with queso and it was neither. The taco being somewhat soft I guess would happen being delivered so that’s my fault.
I’m disappointed to say the least because that was $35 spent, I feel like I should have just flush that money down the toilet. I think the store manager or company should better offer ( if they even do ) courses on preparing and cooking their food. After all, it’s the continued customers experience that will keep those doors open.

I come here every week for my free entree I earned when they opened. Today I came back from a vacation and was having a rough day when I was welcomed by a young white woman around 1:15pm. She who made my day so much better, let me know that the steak was free of charge with my free entree. Which makes a big difference because I happen to have a diverse palate every meal, and for weeks of coming there nobody has mentioned that. Not to mention she also loaded my bowl completely with everything I could need! She was truly a kind soul and I didn’t get to catch her name since this was my first occurrence with her but she was great. The only downside to this place is the online ordering. Every time I try to pick up an order, there is always something missing, it just makes it a hassle to always come in and order on a busy day. Other than that, they have very fresh food consistently and I don’t feel terrible after eating out, opposing many fast foods we have in Dahlonega.

This place has not been open long, they are still getting in the grove of things. With all that being said, the employees were fun and quick. The food was amazing! Brought a whole group of boys here and we had a great time! I only expect things to get better here. (Also, I told them to just put my burrito in a bowl because I loaded it up too much lol)

it’s just crap. The workers were just talking and weren’t focused on making my food, and barely put anything on the burrito. This place is just a sad excuse for chipotle, with less quality food, and higher prices. Just eat anywhere but here if you’re smart with your money and have any kind of taste in food.

This place rocks! The food was amazingly fresh and tasty – a good bit of classic ingredients with well seasoned meat choices (and we loved the option to grill some of the ingredients with the meal). I would totally come back here again!

I had a to go order and ate there for the first time tonight, when we got home we did not get any of our salsa for our chips, my husband’s burrito was missing his sauce and guacamole that we paid extra for, I had no sour cream and did not get the sauce I wanted on the side at all. Might not be going back.

I placed an order for pick-up for a work lunch, and it exceeded expectations! I ordered two 12 taco kits to feed 7 people, and they gave us so much extra food….we could still feed 5 or 6 more people, after some coworkers took extra for leftovers. I also asked if they had gallons of sweet tea I could purchase. They let me know they didn’t carry the gallons at the restaurant, but then offered to let us fill up several cups of sweet tea at no charge. Everything was packaged great and ready to go when I got there. They even helped us to our car with the order, and when we accidentally spilled the container salsa in the parking lot, they ran in and fixed another to replace it with. I’ll definitely order again for large orders!!! They were also so nice!
