Hands down Surcheros is best of its class. They have SAUCE. Crazy concept Chipotle, barbarities, etc haven’t figured out. Can’t beat a grilled burrito from them. I always get great service when I come here – the team is awesome!

Customer service impeccable. We told the gentleman we had never eaten here and he proceeded to give a great explanation of the choices and options. He even told us goodbye as we were leaving. You don’t find this type of customer service very often anymore. It’s a pleasant surprise when encountered.

Food is great, but we had to stand in line to wait for service while they worked on online orders first. We were the only ones in line, and they filled 5 other items before they served us. Very frustrating.

We have been here several times since the place opened. Service and quality were aweful when we went this weekend.
Less than normal toppings and my bowl had so much water at the bottom I had to scoop it out to be able to enjoy it. My husband’s quesadilla was pretty much just cheese…. Even though a protein and toppings were requested.
I tried to go directly to their website to submit this complaint- when I didn’t hear back I decided to post a google review.
$30 that feels like I just threw out of a window.

This restaurant does a magnificent job at catering. They came to my office and had the whole staff praising the food and set up!
So I called to have them do a tailgate order. I have never had this level of service and attention to detail. Having everything ready, helping take boxes out to the car. And excellent food.
I had to work the morning of the next UGA game, when I was late for pick up- the GM David Wilson called me ! Making suggestions how to speed things up to help us.
If you are considering a tailgate order catering – please consider these great folks! The food is excellent! Service is great! David Wilson and staff the BEST!

Really dirty dining room. The floors, booths, tables and chairs look as if they have not been cleaned all day. I’m here for dinner at 6:30pm. The food is rather terrible. My chips look as if oil were poured on top of them then stomped on before they put them in the container. The staff are clearly miserable and the preparation of my order seems to be a reflection of that misery. Will not be coming back. Hopefully the health department shuts this location down soon.

Second time I’ve wasted money here!! I spent $130 here between my last two visits within two weeks. It is so difficult for them to read the orders and get them correct. This is highly annoying. I work so hard for my money! Will never use this location again. Forgot all the sauces and then shorted me heavily on my queso! One little black cup for nachos. Completely insane.

I’ve eaten at quite a few Surcheros locations (8+) and it’s my favorite place to eat hands down. I can confidently say this is one of the best I’ve ever been to and DEFINITELY the better one in Athens.

I only do pickup so keep that in mind. The restaurant seems clean when I walk in, though.
I’ve had an incident where they lost my order (I used their website), however, that was only once. Ever since then they’ve been perfect.
As far as the food, their burritos and especially taco salads are EXCELLENT. To me they have a much better flavor than other local restaurants that are similar.
