Everything we tried was fantastic! Bailey is attentive and does a great job of explaining menu items. If you like sushi rolls, I highly recommend the Mt. Fuji one!

Popped by after seeing their sign on the highway, and was pleasantly surprised by amazing food and excellent service. Decor is very fitting for the theme. Definitely worth a visit from the Killeen or Temple area where good Korean can be difficult to find.

Sura Sushi is hands down one of the best sushi spots around. The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor—every roll tastes like it was made with real care and quality ingredients. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
What really makes Sura special, though, is the people. Jay and Justin are amazing—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They go above and beyond to make sure every customer feels taken care of, and that kind of service makes a huge difference. The entire crew is friendly, professional, and works together like a family, which creates such a great atmosphere.
Whether you’re dining in or ordering to go, the experience is always consistent and enjoyable. Great food, great service, and great vibes. I highly recommend Sura to anyone who loves good sushi and even better customer service. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Food was delicious. We seen this little family owned restaurant coming back from fishing at the lake all morning. We got the Korean Seafood Pancake, it’s authentic to Korea and was on point. We will be going back!

My first experience at Sura was amazing! The atmosphere was incredible and the decor was beautiful!

The service was great and super friendly! We were served by Jennie and she made it a point to place our comfort and experience at a high. Although we were served by Jennie, the rest of the staff present also greeted us and shared words. Which was greatly appreciated!

The food was delicious! And served with great quality and quantity! I was able to clear the entire plate haha!

Overall my experience was amazing! And I would recommend this place a 10/10, I left satisfied and with a full happy belly. Thankyou Sura !

I am not sure how this place has so many 5 star reviews. Definitely was not a 5 star experience. I will say…upon entering we were greeted and welcomed to sit wherever we would like. Menus were brought out, and we were offered the complimentary salad and soup, these servings were very skimpy. The soup was just broth and the salad had maybe 4 pieces of lettuce w ginger dressing…ok cool…it was complimentary. The waitress was really new and didn’t know anything about the menu when I asked her a few questions regarding the veggies they used for the dol sot…anyway. We ordered the kimchi pancake and monkey brains for appetizers, we didn’t get any small plates to use w our appetizers and had to ask for chopsticks and dipping bowl. The kimchi pancake came out and it was amazing…then it went downhill from there. The monkey brains came out and all you could taste was the oil they fried the stuff in, it tasted like old oil. For dinner we ordered the spicy chicken bento box and spicy pork dinner plate. Now…I have an unwavering love for Korean food…when I say this was not Korean, this was NOT Korean food. The spicy pork and chicken tasted identical. It was sweet and had an underlying flavor that I can’t put my finger on but it was gross and made me sick to my stomach. I had to ask for the “veggies” that are supposed to to come with the pork plate, to which I was told it didn’t come with it…then after a bit she corrected herself and brought potatoes, yellow radish, cucumbers, and I believe lotus root…no kimchi…what Korean restaurant doesn’t give cabbage kimchi? Anyway…the veggies tasted good, the rice was good, but I barely ate any of the “spicy” pork. I couldn’t stomach it. The bento box was an oil slick of fried food that tasted of fried oil. We couldn’t enjoy the tempura or mando. The fried rice was more like oiled rice…and the California rolls didn’t even have wasabi or ginger…let’s just say we won’t be back and we won’t be suggesting it to anyone either.

We paid almost $8 for two glasses of sweet tea kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

The food was excellent. My daughter & I were actually on our way to Belton for some crawfish when I saw the sign for Sura . We decided to loop back around and give this place a try. The food was excellent! I’m glad we stopped by for my daughter’s birthday lunch….we will definitely be back.

The restaurant was nice and clean. It’s a nice cozy feel.
The staff is friendly.
Walking in we were greeted and welcomed to sit wherever we would like.
We were given Menus to order from.
They asked if we wanted the complimentary salad and soup. They were really small servings. The soup was a Miso broth with two tiny pieces of tofu. The salad had a few pieces of lettuce with ginger dressing. They both were good.
Our waitress was new and didn’t know much about the menu.
We ordered appetizers – when served we had to ask for plates and sauce bowls.
Kimchi Pancake – came out first and it was awesome, very flavorful and fresh.
Monkey Brains – Half cut avocado stuff w/spicy crab meat, layered spicy tuna, flashed fried, topped w/Sushi Chef’s special sauce, it came out and it wasn’t all that good! It had a bland taste and tasted like they needed to Chang out their oil. Tasted like old fried food.
We ordered Main Meals:
Spicy Chicken Bento Box – Served with 4pc California rolls, Chef’s choice 2 side dishes, Chef’s choice 2pc Vegetable tempura, 2pc Yaki Man Do, 1 Shrimp tempura & Fried Rice
Spicy Pork Dinner Plate – Spicy Pork served with Rice, Potatoes, Yellow Radish, Cucumbers, and Lotus Root…no Kimch! What Korean Restaurant doesn’t serve Kimchi!
The spicy pork and chicken tasted the same. It had a sweet taste and had no spice to it.
When they served the spicy pork plate with rice, they didn’t serve any of the vegetables with it. When asked the waitress said it didn’t come with any then she comes out from the back with four little bowls with skimpy serving of the vegetables, potatoes, yellow radish, cucumbers, and lotus root…no kimchi…the vegetables tasted better than the main dish. the rice was good.
The bento box was very oily due to the tempura. The fried food tasted of fried oil.
I didn’t enjoy the tempura. The fried rice was kinda meh! Not good. The California rolls didn’t even come with wasabi or ginger.
This is only my opinion and something you have a hit or miss day. This was a miss for us today!
Who knows, you may try it a like it.
