I finally got to try the royal Korean king’s table (수라상),
and it honestly felt like more than just a meal.

The table came out completely full —
over 20 side dishes, plus carefully prepared main dishes and traditional plates.
Everything was clean, balanced, and beautifully presented.

This is the kind of food you take your time with.
It’s not about eating fast —
it’s about experiencing Korean royal cuisine.

The full royal spread is $200,
and for the amount, quality, and variety, it felt worth it.

They finish the meal with sujeonggwa,
a traditional Korean cinnamon punch, which was a really nice touch.

They also offer monthly specials,
so the menu changes depending on when you visit.

One more thing I didn’t expect —
there’s also an All You Can Eat option on the second floor,
which is great if you want something more casual.

If you’re looking for authentic, upscale Korean dining in the U.S.,
this is definitely a place to try at least once.

Eat like a King ! They serve you traditional Korean foods in original brass bowls just like in old Korean palaces. The foods were excellent along with a variety of side dishes. We had tried hot Fish soup and sauted squid which were both excellent. The atmosphere was spacious & comfortable with attentive service. Great for family & friends gatherings!

We used to go there once every quarter. It looks like the restaurant was remodeled and upgraded the plates and drink menu. It looks like the food is changed too. Banchan was just ok. Kimchi was ok. Maybe we will try it again, but I hope they don’t lose the authentic Korean food taste.

I went to Sura this week for lunch, and I was genuinely impressed. Ever since the ownership changed, not only has the flavor of the food improved, but even the dishes used for the side items have been upgraded. I left the restaurant feeling so happy and satisfied.

The food was delicious, the restaurant was spotless, and the owner was incredibly kind — truly the best combination. Another thing I really loved was that they offer free salad. The fresh vegetables and the sesame dressing were absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed it so much that I went back for salad five times!

My wife and I were concerned after 16 years of living in Korea that we would have a difficult time finding traditional Korean food in Texas. It turns out we had nothing to worry about!

Sura has the traditional Korean main dishes and sides that you’re searching for.

I ordered the LA Kalbi, and it was delicious. It magically whisked me back to the restaurants in PyeongTaek that we would visit when we lived there.

But the best part was the side dishes. The usual kimchi was included, if course, but there was also squash, potato, and about 8 other sides. They were all delicious and authentic.

Also, I have to mention the rice. Out is challenging to find rice in American restaurants that you can enjoy with chopsticks, but Sura has it! It was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of stickiness.

If you’re looking for authentic Korean dishes in Dallas, Sura is the place to go.

After visiting several different korean BBQs around the metroplex. The customer service upstairs here at Sura’s is unmatched and cannot be compared to any other korean BBQ in the area. Everything is always very clean, cocktails are always perfect, the meat and shrimp quality are great and the sides from jalapeño poppers, eggrolls, fried dumplings, and many more always come out perfect. We visit every month.

Theres an upstairs and a downstairs, if you do the AYCE you go upstairs and I feel like I was mislead. The photos on google look really good when it was mediocre. The doenjang jjigae was very sour? Not tasting authentic at all. The pork belly was just barely thick and comes out frozen so it doesn’t get that nice char on it without over cooking. Salad bar was just sad. The other online menu had three options for the Korean bbq, I’m wondering when they changed it because I came for the ny strip and prime ribeye steak. That photo was only a year old. Honestly thought about walking out but we already ordered meat. I guess I also should read the menu better since I prefer the non marinated meats. Servers were nice but I’m thinking the downstairs is where it’s at?

Quality is lacking for the price and the service was terrible. Servers are all very polite but mostly ignore anything you tell them. Utensils were not very clean. The vents don’t work very well either, I had smoke in my face the whole time. They also ran out of several sides. Overall a very mediocre experience.

We enjoyed the private room upstairs with six kids and several adults. It was a perfect setup for our group. The food was so amazing that we forgot to take pictures before we started eating!

If you have young kids, we highly recommend reserving a private room so you don’t have to worry about disturbing other guests.

For appetizers, we ordered the Korean seafood pancake and fried chicken wings — both were crispy and delicious.
The kids loved the bento boxes and bone soup, and the adults really enjoyed the LA galbi and all of the side dishes.

Everything was fantastic!

Hands down one of the best Korean restaurants in town. I recently tried Sura and was seriously impressed, especially knowing they’re under new ownership.

I ordered the Gopchang-jeongol (intestines) and the hamburger steak. The soup had a deep, rich flavor that tasted like it was made with real care, and the hamburger steak was so tender it literally melted in my mouth.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable and clean. You can really feel the difference with the new ownership. If you’re looking for top-quality Korean food, this place is a must-try.
