BEWARE… THEY SUBSTITUTING CATFISH FOR SOMETHING ELSE.. not great experience I ordered catfish but was given something else. Check your orders before leaving..Fries, hush puppies and potato salad was good. The cool aid drinks are good. Stop cutting corners on catfish

I called and placed my order over the phone @ 4:38. I wanted the 10 piece family meal with catfish rather than the pan trout but was told it’s a $15 dollar increase. The 10 piece meal (with 20 wings) was already $46.99. So to upgrade that to catfish it would have been $62. I was assured the pan trout was just as good as the catfish and “just try it”. So I agreed and added more items to my order. I was told 25-30 minutes. I showed up in the restaurant at approximately 5:08. The guy at the register had no idea what order I was referring to, but the cook did, he just didn’t put it in the system. So I paid for my order at 5:10 and was told it would be another 15 minutes. There were several people in the restaurant so it was a little understandable. In that 15 minutes, all of the customer had received their orders and left. I checked on my order once again and was told it would be ANOTHER 15 minutes. I was pissed but waited. I did not leave the restaurant with the food in my hand until 5:55. A total of 1 hour and 7 minutes since I placed the order over the phone.

Now let’s discuss the food. 2 stars at best. The fries were unsalted and unseasoned. The wings were NOT fresh. Those were pulled from the warmer and had been sitting in the warmer since before i entered the restaurant. The 4 piece chicken was also bare minimum and unseasoned. The pan trout I was told was “just as good” my fish loving daughter HATED. We were given God only knows how many (I assume because of the wait) and only ate 4 total. The only things we got fresh tonight was the fish, unsalted fries, and onion rings. The chick strips? Elementary cafeteria grade. Nothing special and nothing you’d buy from a grocery store.

This was a huge disappointment and ultimately cost me $94.74 for 75% of it to go in the trash. I’m all for supporting new businesses in Pearl, especially the small ones. But I will NOT be back and wanted to give my honest experience.

Im editing my review to say, I do not want to eat at this establishment again and when I called to discuss a refund I was told all of their food is fresh and they cannot issue a refund but they are happy to remake my food. After the extensive issues I had the first time, I will not be back. SO in the end, my issue was not resolved.

Ordered a 2pc catfish dinner and received 1 catfish and 1 tilapia. They put the catfish on top of the tilapia so it wasn’t noticeable. Entirely disingenuous. Won’t be going back.

Tonight is my 3rd time going to the Pearl location this week,but unfortunately this experience wasn’t like my first 2. They messed up my order and the cook was extremely rude !!! Even basically snatched the plate away from me I returned .Now the guy at the register was really helpful and polite , I work in fast food and
