Reviews
had one of the granddaughters with us for weekend getaway. Came here based on the reviews for children friendly.
If you ever opened a comic book as a child, you gotta experience this place.
I had the Brown chicken brown cow burger. Literally melt in your mouth. Egg cooked perfectly. Wife had Full Clip fries. And granddaughter had chicken fingers and fries. All food came out so hot you had to wait for it to cool.
Definitely a place to return when we come thru.
The reason this review is 3 stars instead of 5 is that about 10 minutes into our visit, the owner or manager on duty started absolutely hollering at his wait staff that they were not doing a good enough job, that they needed to pick up the pace etc etc. In plain view of all of the customers. Right in the middle of the restaurant. This is unacceptable behaviour and ruined what was shaping up to be a 5 star meal and experience.
You can be annoyed at how a service is going all you like. You leave this kind of outburst to the end of the night or better yet, you control your emotions and don’t start shouting and berating your teenage wait staff. This isn’t Hells Kitchen, it’s a local burger joint.
I absolutely will not visit this place again and it’s a shame, because this might be one of the best burgers I’ve had in Huntsville in near 2 years living here and at a very reasonable price.
If you were our waitress or one of the wait staff he shouted at. You didn’t deserve that kind of treatment, you were all doing great tonight. Maybe the manager tonight was having a rough time, but that is still no excuse. You are expected to be friendly and attentive at all times and yet the owner/manager can speak to you like that in front of a restaurant full of people? Absolutely not. It’s not okay.
Very sad to experience this tonight from a highly reviewed place like this.
Our mozzarella sticks appetizer might have been the only thing that was not at the level the rest of the food was. It wasn’t bad but it was fine.
Honestly, I was not expecting the food to be as good, as I did. My photos of our food may not showcase the solid foundation, in flavor, that our sandwiches had.
The decor, of course, is superhero-related, and there is a lot of it, but I feel it is done nicely. The staff and service was good. The menu is a work of art and very nicely themed. However, I could see some people being confused at the non-traditional layout.
I feel that even if you’re not big into anything comic-related, the value and food are worth a visit.
